How to find files received or downloaded on my smartphone?

    Receiving various types of files has become an essential part of our digital lives whether through a personal computer, cloud-based tools, or another smartphone device, the methods for file transfer are diverse and user-friendly.

    Android™ 12 or higher.

    You can use the built-in file manager Files app to locate, move, copy, rename or share files that you downloaded or received using Bluetooth®.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to the top and find the Files app in the app list.
    2. Tap Downloads to find downloaded or received files.
      If your device has an external SD™ card, check the Downloads folder on the SD card as well

    Tip: You can also choose a folder according to the category of received files. (Example: Image for photos, Audio for music files) And then tap Downloads.

    Android 8 and above, up to 11

    1. Find and tap SettingsStorage.
    2. Find and tap Files. If your device has an external SD card, tap internal shared storage.
    3. Tap Downloads. If your device is Android 10, Android 9, or Android 8, tap Bluetooth to find files received by Bluetooth.

    Tip: You can download a Files app from the Google Play™ Store for file management.
