How to find files received or downloaded on my smartphone?

Receiving various types of files has become an essential part of our digital lives whether through a personal computer, cloud-based tools, or another smartphone device, the methods for file transfer are diverse and user-friendly.
Android™ 12 or higher.
You can use the built-in file manager Files app to locate, move, copy, rename or share files that you downloaded or received using Bluetooth®.
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to the top and find the Files app in the app list.
- Tap Downloads to find downloaded or received files.
If your device has an external SD™ card, check the Downloads folder on the SD card as well
Tip: You can also choose a folder according to the category of received files. (Example: Image for photos, Audio for music files) And then tap Downloads.
Note: The following screenshots may vary depending on the Android version.
Android 8 and above, up to 11
- Find and tap Settings → Storage.
- Find and tap Files. If your device has an external SD card, tap internal shared storage.
- Tap Downloads. If your device is Android 10, Android 9, or Android 8, tap Bluetooth to find files received by Bluetooth.
Tip: You can download a Files app from the Google Play™ Store for file management.
