Can't hear aibo's sounds even at the maximum volume setting

The sounds that your aibo™ robotic companion makes may sound inaudible, even at maximum volume, depending on the environment where you're playing with it. If you can't hear any sounds from aibo, follow the steps below:

1. Perform a force shut off.

   WARNING! This may cause loss of your data and settings.

   1. Hold aibo firmly on a flat surface, such as on a flat floor.
      • This avoids the risk of dropping or damaging aibo.
   2. On the back of aibo's neck, press and hold the power button for ten seconds, or longer, to turn off aibo.
   3. Press and hold the power button for two seconds to turn on aibo.
      • The status LED turns green and aibo turns on.
      • It may take a few moments for aibo to start moving, so don't press the power button again. Just wait for aibo to move.
2. Adjust aibo's volume level.
