If you receive this message when connecting your Apple® device, but it is listed as a supported device, follow these steps to help resolve the issue:
- RESET (not power off) the Apple® device. For example, press the power and home buttons simultaneously for more than 10 seconds to RESET the Apple® iPod touch® portable player.
- If step #1 is not successful, carefully CLEAN both connectors (Docking Station and Apple device) with either of the following:
- A vacuum
- A hair dryer set to COOL.
