The remote control doesn't work, but the Power button does

If this occurs, reset the remote control and then pair the Bluetooth® function again. Here's how:

    1. Unplug the TV AC power cord from the wall.
    2. Remove the batteries from the remote control and then reinsert them.
    3. Change the remote control function from Bluetooth to IR.

    4. Plug in your TV.
    5. If necessary, complete the initial setup on your TV.
    6. Pair the Bluetooth function of the remote with your TV.
      1. On the remote control, press the HOME button.
      2. Select Gear icon Settings.
      3. Select Network & Accessories.
      4. Select Remote control.
      5. Follow the on-screen directions.

Try to adjust the volume or change channels without pointing the remote directly to the TV. If your remote is able to operate the TV, pairing is successful and it's back to Bluetooth functionality.

Note: The POWER button on the remote control operates through infared (IR) signal, so it will always send the Power command to the TV.
