    Important Notes

    The currently installed version of the Intel HD Graphics Family / 4400 driver must be uninstalled before installing this update. Follow the steps below to uninstall the existing driver.

    1. Click "Control Panel" then select "Uninstall a program"
    2. Double-click the "Intel Graphics Driver"
    3. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the driver
    4. Restart the computer
    • During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
    • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    • It is highly recommended that you print out these instructions for use as a reference during the installation process.

    Download and Installation Instructions

    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the EP0000601021.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000601021.exe file to begin the installation.
    4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
    5. At the "Welcome to the Setup Program" screen, click "Next".
    6. At the "License Agreement" screen, read the agreement, then if you agree, click "Yes" to continue.
    7. At the "Readme File Information" screen, view the system requirements and installation information, then click "Next".
    8. At the "Setup Progress" screen, click "Next" to continue.
    9. At the "Setup is Complete" screen, select "Yes, I want to restart this computer now", then click "Finish" to restart the computer.

    After the computer restarts, the installation of the Intel HD Graphics Family / 4400 Update is complete.
