    Download and Installation Instructions

    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the EP0000600884.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000600884.exe file to begin the installation.
    4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
    5. Please follow the on-screen instructions.
    6. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, click "Finish".

    The installation of the VAIO Hardware Diagnostics software is complete.

    Update Verification (optional)

    Please follow the steps below to verify that the installation was successfull

    1. Click "Search" then type "Computer"
      File location: "C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Sony\VAIO Recovery\plugins\version.txt".
    2. Double-click "Version.txt".
    3. Version 4.11.1.11210 displayed.
