My Android TV continuously turns on and off (reboot loop) after a firmware update
This issue may be resolved by performing a forced factory reset on your TV.
Important
- This article only applies if your Android TV™ continously reboots AFTER a firmware update has been installed.
- A blinking red LED light is not a reboot issue, if your TV has this problem, please refer to the LED light blinks/flashes red article instead.
Before you start
WARNING! This reset process will remove all of your TV settings including apps, channels, and wireless network.
- You may need help from a second person to perform the reset.
Perform a forced factory reset
The number of buttons on the back of your TV determines which steps you have to follow to perform a forced factory reset.
- There are only three buttons.
- There are four or more buttons

If the reboot issue continues after you perform a forced factory reset, please perform the reset again. If the issue still occurs after the second reset, Contact the Product Support team for further assistance.
