Error: USB is drawing too much current

If this error appears on your TV screen, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
- Disconnect the USB device and Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL™) devices from your TV.
- Reconnect the USB device to your TV.
- Ensure you don't connect the USB device to a USB Hub.
- Try to connect the USB device to a different USB port.
- Use an external power supply, such as a phone charger, if you're using a Hard Disk Drive (HDD).
- If the issue still occurs then restart or power reset your TV.
The menu items and steps may vary, so follow the steps that best match your TV menu:
- Restart the TV with the supplied remote control (easiest):
- Press and hold the POWER button until a menu appears → select Restart
- Press and hold the POWER button until Power off appears on the screen
- Restart using the menu. On the remote:

- Press HOME → navigate to Settings → About → Restart → Restart
- Press HOME → navigate to Settings → Device Preferences → About → Restart → Restart

- If the power cord is accessible:
- Unplug the TV power cord from the wall outlet, wait two minutes, then plug the power cord back in.
- Restart the TV with the supplied remote control (easiest):
If the error still appears after you reset your TV, the USB device may be damaged. Try a different USB device.
