To connect the TV to the internet, you need a modem and network router setup with an active internet connection. You then connect your TV to the network router using a wireless or wired connection.
Your Android TV™ has a built-in wireless adaptor that enables it to connect wirelessly to your network.

If, however, you prefer a wired connection, an Ethernet (LAN) cable is needed.

Before You Start
- Set up your modem and router and make sure your network is connected to the Internet. Refer to your modem and router manual or manufacturer for configuration details.
- If you need a Wired connection, connect an Ethernet (LAN) cable from the router to the Local Area Network (LAN) jack
on the back of the TV.
Use the Network Setup Feature in the TV Menu to Connect to Your Network
- On the supplied TV remote control, press the Home button.
- Select Settings or the
icon. - Under NETWORK & ACCESSORIES, select Network.
- Select Network setup.
- Select Easy.
- Select your TV-to-Router connection type

Wireless Connection
- On the Select a way to connect your wireless router screen, choose a connection method.

If you know the name and password of your home network.
- Select CONNECT BY SCANLIST. CONNECT BY SCANLIST uses Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) security protocol.
- Select the name of your network.
- Type your password on the Enter the password (WPA) of your router screen.
- Highlight the Password text field and press the ENTER or OK button to display the on-screen keyboard.
- The password is case sensitive. Press the up-arrow button on the on-screen keyboard to switch to upper case characters, then press on it again to go back to lower case.
- Select NEXT to proceed.
- Select OK.

If your router has a WPS button.
- Select CONNECT BY WPS BUTTON.
- On your router, press the WPS button.
- Select OK.

Note:
- Check your router manual if you don't know the Service Set Identifier (SSID) / network name or WEP or WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) security key.
- In most home environments, the IP address setting is set to Auto while the Proxy setting is No. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) if a proxy connection has been setup.

Wired Connection
- Select WIRED LAN and follow the on-screen instructions.
Note:
- The setting items (IP address, subnet mask, DHCP) may vary depending on the internet service provider (ISP) or router. For details, contact your ISP or refer to your router's manual.
- You may need to turn off the built-in wireless LAN function for the wired connection to work properly.
View instructions to turn it off
- On the supplied remote control, press the Home button.
- Select Settings.
- Under NETWORK & ACCESSORIES, select Network.
- Select Advanced Settings.
- Select Built-in Wi-Fi.
- Choose Off.
