Noise appears in fast moving scenes, when switching between scenes, or at screen edges in fast moving scenes

    Motionflow creates interpolated images to make the picture smooth. Therefore, noise may appear in fast-moving scenes, or when switching between scenes on your TV.

    If there's too much noise, change the Motionflow settings.

    Note: The display screen may differ depending on the model or operating system. The images below are just examples.

    1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. This step will vary depending on your TV menu settings:
      • Select Display & SoundPictureAdvanced settingsMotionMotionflow.
      • Select DisplayPictureAdvanced settingsMotionMotionflow
      • Select Picture & DisplayPicture adjustmentsAdvanced settingsMotionMotionflow.
    4. The video you are playing appears on the screen. While you are watching the video, use the arrow buttons to select a different mode that reduces the noise.
      • If the issue still occurs, follow these instructions to choose Custom mode and then adjust the Smoothness.
        1. Select Custom.

          Note: If the noise still isn't reduced, set Motionflow to Off or Clear.
