All network status tests fail when performing the wireless network diagnosis on my TV

Your TV can't connect to a Wi-Fi® network and, after performing the network status test on the TV, the test results show it failed. The following information is provided to help resolve this issue.

    Network status

After performing the network status test on your TV, the network status results appear as:

    • Wireless device on TV: Failed (or Off)
    • Local Access: Failed
    • Internet Access: Failed

These results indicate that the wireless module inside your TV does not detect your home network. The test checks to see if the wireless module can receive a signal from your router, if it fails, then the Local access and Internet access test will also fail. Check the troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:

Troubleshooting the built-in wireless LAN connection

Steps may vary depending on your TV. For model-specific information, check your TV manuals. Manuals are posted on your model support page.

    1. Make sure the built-in wireless function is enabled
    2. Perform a power reset or restart of your TV
    3. Perform the network diagnosis again

      Notes:

      • If your built-in wireless function is enabled, your TV should be able to find available wireless networks nearby. If you're TV is still unable to find a Wi-Fi connection in the Network Connection list (even from other nearby sources), the TV may have a hardware issue and require repair.  Go to Product Repair.
      • If you're TV is unable to find your Wi-Fi network, but is able to see wireless networks from other nearby sources, your TV is functioning properly and there may be an issue with your network. Try performing a power reset of your modem/router or contact your provider.

    4. Power reset your modem/router
