Chromecast built-in (Google Cast) lets you watch your favorite entertainment and apps from your mobile device or computer on your Android TV or Google TV. When you cast to the TV, it doesn't disconnect the internet connection or mirror content. This offers an advantage over Screen mirroring and Wi-Fi® Direct functions as you can cast content to the TV while you work on other apps or programs on your device.
Before you start
The TV and mobile device or computer must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
The latest version of the Google Chrome or Microsoft® Edge® browser must be installed on the computer. To check the version:
Chrome → click More → Help → About Google Chrome.
Edge → click the Settings and More → Help and feedback → About Microsoft Edge.
