Turn on the Closed Caption Feature of the YouTube App

    Follow these steps to turn on the closed caption feature of the YouTube™ app:

    Note:

    • The CC button on the supplied remote doesn't turn on this feature.
    • The list of available languages depends on the video that you'll play.

    1. Using the supplied remote control, open the app.
    2. Select a video.
    3. Press the Enter button to display the navigation bar.
    4. Select the CC icon.

      • You can only select the CC icon if caption is available for that video. The icon is grayed out if caption isn't available.
    5. Under Captions Settings, select Captions, and then select a language.

      • The CC icon turns blue after you turn on closed caption.
