Cleaning your TV screen and cabinet

    WARNING!

    • There's a risk of personal injury. Make sure your hands aren't wet when you unplug or plug-in the TV's power cord at the electrical outlet. If your hands are wet, there's a risk of electric shock.
    • There's a risk of hardware damage. Don't press hard on the LCD screen during cleaning. Doing so may cause scratches on anti-reflective coating.
    • There's a risk of hardware damage. Don't use any type of spray window cleaner, abrasive pad, paper towels, scouring powder, or solvents (such as alcohol, paint thinner or benzene). These items may damage the TV screen, or the electrical circuitry, and can scratch or strip the finish on the cabinet.

Cleaning the TV screen and cabinet

    • Unplug the TV from the electrical outlet before you clean the screen.
    • Clean the LCD screen with a soft, dry cloth. For more stubborn stains, you can use a soft cloth slightly dampened with a solution of mild soap and warm water. When you clean the screen, wipe it in small circular motions from top to bottom. Immediately afterward, use a soft cloth to dry the screen.

Note: Use a lightly damp cloth to clean the cabinet. And only use a soft dry cloth to wipe speaker grills.
