There is no sound from the TV while streaming or casting apps

    Try these steps and test the app after completing each one.

    1. Check if the TV volume is set extremely low or muted.
    2. Check if the sound is working from other non-app sources such as TV channels, etc.
      Note: If there is no sound from sources other than apps, refer to this Sound issue article instead.
    3. If there is no sound while casting, restart the casting device.
    4. Restart the app.
    5. Sign out and sign in to the app again.
    6. Update the app to the latest version from Google Play™ Store.
    7. Reset the app.
      Follow this procedure for Android TV™ or Google TV™ models.
    8. Perform a power reset on the TV.
    9. Update the TV to the latest software.
