How to set up a wireless network

To connect the Android TV™ to a network using a wireless connection, follow the steps below.

1. On the supplied IR remote control, press the HOME button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Network.
4. Select Network setup.
5. Select Easy.
6. Select Wi-Fi.
7. Select the connection method.

Using standard manual network connection

When connecting manually, after selecting a network from the list of scanned wireless networks, select Connect by scan list.

1. When the Enter the password... screen appears after choosing your network from the scan list, press the ENTER button while the text field is highlighted to activate the on-screen keyboard.
2. Input the security key for your network.
3. Select NEXT/ENTER or FINISH to proceed.

Using the WPS button 

The WPS standard makes the setup of a secure wireless home network as simple as pressing the WPS button on the wireless internet router. Before setting up a wireless network connection with your TV, check the location of the WPS button on the router and verify how to use it.

To connect to a wireless network via WPS, your router needs to support the WPS standard.

1. Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Network.
4. Select Network setup.
5. Select either Easy or Expert.

• Easy:
  1. On the Select how to connect to your network screen, select Wi-Fi.
  2. On the Select a way to connect to your wireless router screen, select CONNECT BY WPS BUTTON.
  3. Press the WPS button on the wireless router.

• Expert:
  1. Under the Device Network screen, select Wi-Fi.
  2. Under the Network Wi-Fi screen, select Connect via WPS.
  3. Press the WPS button on the router.
