    Important Notes

    • This driver is intended for models with VAIO Movie Story installed. If the application is not installed, you will receive the message "Cannot run this program because VAIO Movie Story is not installed. The program will quit".
    • Click to Disc version 1.2.70 or higher is required for this installation. Please update to the latest available version. To verify the version of the application, view the "version_ctd.txt" file located at "C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO VP Utilities" or "Program Files (x86)\Sony\VAIO VP Utilities".
    • During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
    • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    • It is highly recommended that you print out these instructions for use as a reference during the installation process.

    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the EP0000600142.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000600142.exe file to begin the installation.
    4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
    5. At the "VAIO Movie Story Update" screen, click "Next".
    6. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
    7. At the "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for VAIO Movie Story 1.5 Upgrade " screen, click "Next".
    8. At the "Ready to Install the Program" screen, click "Install".
    9. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, click "Finish".
    10. At the "Finish" screen, click "Finish".
    11. Restart the computer.

    After the computer restarts, the installation of the VAIO Movie Story Update is complete.
