Before You Start
Important Notes
- IMPORTANT: Please do not connect the Portable Headphone Amplifier to the computer until instructed. If you have already connected the device to the computer, please disconnect it now.
- During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
- It is highly recommended that you print out these instructions for use as a reference during the installation process.

System Requirements
This software requires a computer meeting the following system requirements:
- Microsoft® Windows® 11, and Windows 10 operating system
- Hard Drive Space: 100 MB or more.

Notes:
- There is a seperate driver for the Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7, or Windows Vista® operating systems.
- This software is not supported on computers with upgraded operating systems.
- This software is not guaranteed to work for all computers even if they meet the above system requirements.
Download and Installation Instructions
- Click the Download Now icon on this page to begin.
- Read the Software Download License Agreement, then, if you agree, click ACCEPT AGREEMENT to continue.
- At the File Save dialog box, download the Driver_X_v2.23.2_forWin10.exe file to your desired location on your computer. (please note this location for reference) Note: Please do not connect the Portable Headphone Amplifier to the computer until instructed. If you have already connected the device to the computer, please disconnect it now.
- Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the Driver_X_v2.23.2_forWin10.exe file.
- At the User Account Control screen, click Yes or Continue.
- At the Installer Language screen, select the language you wish to use, and then click Yes.
- At the Welcome to the Sony Portable Headphone Amplifier v2.23.2 Setup Wizard screen, click Next.
- At the Setup screen, please wait while the system status is checked.
- At the Setup screen, when requested, please connect the Portable Headphone Amplifier device to the computer using the USB cable and ensure it is powered on.
- Once the unit is connected and powered on, then click Next.
- At the Choose Install Location screen, click Install.
Note: If the installation fails, do not change the destination folder, please install the default folder again. - At the Installing screen, please wait while the setup file is preparing, this may take some time to complete.
- At the Would you like to install this device software? screen, click Install.
- At the Would you like to install this device software? screen, click Install.
- At the Installation Complete screen, click Next.
- At the Completing the Sony Portable Headphone Amplifier v2.23.2 Setup Wizard screen, click Finish.
The Portable Headphone Amplifier Driver installation is complete.
