These are some of the most comfortable gaming headphones I’ve ever had and hey sound great as well. My only gripe is that I would love for them to have a bit more bass so that explosions in games can have a more full sound to them.

Sound quality is excellent. Build quality on the other hand have some room for improvement. I am currently on my second pair, original saw the sponge. With that being the only issue encountered the head phones is excellent for gaming.

got this headset for Christmas I love it so far its great for PC and it is also awesome with my PS5. i haven't had a headset this nice in this price range. i feel its way better than the Sony pulse 3D ps5 headset.

The sound of it is good enough for the price point, and the bluetooth allowing simultaneous connection to multiple devices is a big plus, but if you've gone for this headset over other purely wireless headsets in the same price range the only reason can be that you play lots of video games and need a mic. Otherwise there are better wireless options from Sony themselves. If wireless isn't a feature you need, go wired, trust me. The mic is abysmal, one of the worst I've used and I've used very cheap headsets. It seems to pick up every single breath I make no matter where the mic is positioned but any words are choppy and the start of sentences always cut out. My friends that I play PS5 online with on party chat & in-game chat have all complained and we've agreed this is nowhere NEAR acceptable for a headset at this price range. I'll be returning it.

I love the quality and feel of this headset. The wireless feature makes using it a breeze, without getting tangled in a knot of wires like I used to.

The INZONE H7 Wireless gaming headset is amazing! The headset has a sleek aesthetic with a smoothly articulating microphone. The headset pairs very well with the PS5. The sound is incredible. My oldest is completely enamored with them and has used them daily since he got them. I am not much of a gamer, but I have used them and I was very pleasantly surprised that they didn't feel as heavy as I thought they would. All the games I played sounded great. This is a quality headset that enhances play. The microphone is clear and conversations are crisp.

The Sony InZone H7 Wireless Headset is amazing. The headset is cushioned which makes them very comfortable for long term use. The Headset is perfect for our PS5,the microphone is awesome for a clear,crisp sound, great for talking and comes with a USB transceiver. Overall, great gaming Headset by Sony.

I received the INZONE H7 Wireless Gaming Headset free from TryIt Sampling for a review. First I want to say it is very light and soft on my ears. The headset fits snug and doesn't get my ears hot and is very comfortable. It works with PS4 and PC which is great. To mute the mic you just push it up. It was easy to install and great sound. Works with blue tooth and connects to wifi without a problem. You just plug it in and its ready with lots of volume. The blue tooth works up to 60 feet away, great. The battery life is great, 40 hours of use. It has a long USB C cable. I would recommend it.

I found the Inzone H7 headset easy to setup via bluetooth. The headset is made of good quality and nice and sturdy. I like that they are light height and fit nicely on my head. The sound quality is nice, but I found it needs a little more bass because it seems a bit hollow. Not too bad, but that was my first impression. The mic works great and I came across loud and clear to my gaming buddies. I recommend these for the price point when it comes to gaming headsets.

Use it with my PS2 and works like a charm. Sound quality is out of this world and ergonomics are excellent.

I received this headset and was excited, knowing that Sony is one of the premier electronic brands out there. I was not disappointed, to say the least. The headphones fit well and provide good audio. The mic works great and others can hear me without any issues. The setup to sync Bluetooth was relatively smooth and effortless. All in all a great headset

Just got these recently. Came super well packed & pre-charged. Quick simple set up instructions. Great connectivity between devices. This headset is extremely comfortable to wear. Lots of soft, comfy cushioning and lightweight. Can wear for hours on end, and not get super sweaty ears. Easy access buttons and volume control built right into the headset. The sound quality is what you’d expect from Sony. Amazing! Mic delivers your voice clearly to others. I do wish they came with a case to keep them in. These will you get in the game zone and block out the world around you. Fantastic quality. A must have for gamers.

Found this to be completely comfortable, liked how it fit for long wear time. Speaker seemed to work good, no one complained they could not hear me.

I am just getting into using headphones to play games. I find that I can spend some time with my grandson who is a few hours away and we can play some games together and talk. I only had a used gaming headset that I bought from a local ad. The Inzone H7 Wireless Gaming Headset is packaged very securely, with easy set up instructions on the flap. Since these are wireless, you will need to charge them up first, which took about an hour. They then have about 40 hours on a battery, depending. Installation was easy. I connected the USB to one of the ports on the back of my PS5, making sure you have the switch on the USB transceiver on PS5 before installing. I then installed the USB-C charging cable to the front USB of my PS5. I turned on my H7 headset and PS5 and they paired automatically. I went to the PS5 sound audio menu and set my preferences. There is an app, INZONE Hub, that you should download to help set preferences and get updates. The Hub lets you customize what you hear and fine tune. It's not necessary, but you will want to control what you hear for your liking. The headset looks heavy but is light and has foam padding around each ear, that so far is comfortable to wear for hours of play. It doesn't slide or hurt my ears. The left side controls volume and mic mute. You can just flip the microphone up to mute. The right-side headphone is the game / chat balance button, and power and Bluetooth buttons. Game Play: I have had no issues with chatting on the H7 headset. Anyone I'm playing with says they can hear me clearly. The sound effects in the game, such as birds, crunching, shooting, explosions, etc are very clearly heard. It really immerses you in the game. I didn't' know what I was missing with my old headphones. These headphones are not noise cancelling, but they do keep a lot of the outside noise from bothering you when you're trying to concentrate on a game, especially when you live in town. Since I am new to this gaming world, I don't have a lot of experience. My old headphones (not Sony) that I bought used were taped together, and I'm sure not doing the job well. I'm still getting used to these. I have always played video games but am new to using wireless headphones. I am sure there is a lot I'll find out as I continue to use these. All I know is that they are light and comfortable. I can wear them for several hours and they stay put and don't slide off. I can hear so many new sounds that I couldn't hear before. It's like I am standing in that forest, or whatever game I am playing. I can talk while playing and be heard and can hear back.

I got to try the Sony inzone H7 wireless gaming headset for PlayStation. At first I thought they were kinda big and bulky but after trying them on they fit and feel great. They don’t fall off my head so that’s a plus. The sound is amazing. I have kids and it downs out thr sound of them playing and doesn’t disturb my gaming. They are white and black which compliments the PlayStation perfectly. My kids tend to fight over this headset they all want a pair. I like that it’s wireless, no cords getting in the way to trip over. This headset would make a perfect gift for any gaming person in your life.

The INZONE H7 Wireless Gaming Headset is great. It has great battery life. The fabric earcuffs fit nice and the headset is comfortable. Not heavy either. The sound is great.

My son absolutely loves these headsets from Sony. He said the sound is so clear you can hear everything in the game instead of everything around. He’s very pleased with this set for his PlayStation 5.

Per my son, these are awesome mom!! The sound is great! Wireless is very convenient. He is able to use them on both his ps5 and computer. When i asked him for pros and cons, a LOT of pros but only con was sometimes they dig a little into the bottom of his ear and if he loosens the top to fix that, they fall off. But he said that wasn’t a big problem! He loves them.

What can I say about this headset is that it is awesome. Sound is excellent and the padding in the ears makes it extra comfortable. Mic sounds great and they are crystal clear. I think these are some of the best ones I have ever tried.

I have been using my IZONE H7 Wireless gaming headset for about a week now. I really like how they fit and feel on my head. They are great at noise canceling and I hear everything crystal clear. This is a great headset.

I am so glad I got these headphones! The ear prices are large and do not pinch my ears. The nice and big ear coverage is very comfortable. The headset worked right away after plugging in the usb port into the computer. I like that a app is not required. Its simple and fast to use. I am also pleased with the good sound quality plus the microphone works great. This is a well made headset.

I was so very impressed with the INZONE H7 wireless gaming headset during my first gaming session, and continue to realize and appreciate all its fine attributes. Lightweight yet sturdy, these headphones deliver superior comfort with a soft, wide cushioned headband and earcups beautifully shaped to fit well and eliminate any pressure or pinching even after hours of continuous use. The 360 spatial sound is perfect for gaming because I can immediately hear the slightest movement from any direction, and accurately judge the distance of my opponent. I especially like the full range of sounds from bass to high frequencies which are both full and crisp, minus the distortion common on my previous headsets. The 40-hour battery life excellent, as is the quick recharge. After multiple gaming and music sessions, my rating is 5 stars for quality, performance, superb comfort!

Sony-Inzone H7 Wireless gaming headset is a very nice product. I use these while gaming online with friends. The comfort of the headset is exceptional. The noise control is amazing and the sound is perfect. The microphone does make you sound like you are in a tunnel when you speak though. Overall, these are very nice and great quality.

These gaming headphones rule. For the longest time the kids in neighborhood would pone me while playing the newest World of Warcraft but with these head phones I’m so locked in I’m now the king of the street! My wife of 33 years isn’t a fan because I’m playing so much, but now Tyler next door can’t make fun of me while I’m mowing the lawn. Would buy!

I like the InZone H7 Wirleless Gaming Headset. The headphones are a contemporary sleek white and black trim design. The look very cool! The feel is slightly large and bulky but are nicely padded for comfort. They have a great sound level considering they are not noise canceling. These headphones are perfect for gaming! They will not disappoint!

My son loves the wireless headset. He is a avid gamer and we have had countless headsets . The wired headsets always seem to split at the ear section and are not very convenient. The wireless we have tried dont have the coverage we are looking for. So far Sony has everything we are looking for. Completely satisfied at this point.

Just started using this a week back and seems like I can't live without it. The sound effect and the quality of this product is really the best. The spatial sound is really impactful.

I originally got this Sony INZONE H7 Wireless Gaming Headset for my youngest son who has the PS4. Sony is Sony right? No. They did connect to the PS4 easily no problems there. My don said very comfortable and he liked the design ( he is 18 years old) but the actual performance of them being compatible isn’t there. It lagged & dropped the WiFi. So he gave them to my oldest son. He has the PS5. He is now a very happy owner of these Sony INZONE H7 Wireless Gaming Headset. They work great! They again connected easily. They charge very quickly. The sound is clear. Venmo ices & sound effects They are a nice lightweight headset. Just would be nice to be more universal for other Sony products. ( even though stated for PS5)

The sound quality is slightly muffled. The microphone is surprisingly good; but there is a setting that allows you to hear yourself and you have no way to turn it off. This is not a good feature. The weight is a little heavy but, overall, it is not too bad. The fit is a little loose and slides around a bit. The range is good and the battery life is really great.

This headset is super comfortable. It doesn’t irritate my ears even after wearing it for a while. I love the design of it as well. The sound quality is great and I appreciate that it’s wireless which makes it convenient for everyday use. Highly recommend

H7 headset is simple to setup straight out of the box. Connection to both PS4 and gaming laptop straightforward, connect and start the journey. First thing you notice is the quality of the sound, everything is clearer and atmosphere of chosen game is enhanced through the quality of headset. Especially enjoyed walking through the snow in the game, so realistic I felt cold. Highly recommend the H7 headset, think it’d be even better with a PS5, next upgrade!

This Gaming Headset is absolutely fantastic, they look great and they feel great. Even though a little large they are so amazingly light and extremely comfortable. When you're wearing them the pads around the earpieces are so breathable that you can wear them for hours without getting really sweaty ears (Big Plus). The sound quality is second to none, crisp clear game audio with pin point directional accuracy along with a lovely low frequency bass output to really bring it home. The option to be able to connect your phone via bluetooth and Pc via dongle means you can keep in touch with friends on or offline easily without interrupting gameplay which is particularly convenient. The voice audio is perfect voices come through along with your game audio as clear as a bell, there is also a volume fader switch on the headset to increase/decrease game/chat audio which means you can quickly and easily fine tune the balance between your game and chat audio and to return the chatter you have a very nicely situated flip down mic which mutes when you flip it up. They come in moulded packaging with the environment in mind which is actually ideal for storing them neatly when not in use. There is a program to download for the Pc to allow you to change various settings on the headset to your preference via a simple user interface, the install setup and connection processes are very quick and easy to do including setup for the 360 audio which analyzes your ear shape to further more improve your immersive audio experience. I absolutely love this Gaming Headset and I have used it on Pc and PS4 pro and it has been an amazing experience all round, but what I am really looking forward to is when I can get a PS5, this headset is a must have as far as I am concerned.

It is capable of handling audio input from both sources simultaneously. • The Earcups are fabric but are comfortable to wear for extended gaming sessions. (my ears didn’t overheat!) • The Inzone H7 is compatible with the Playstation 5’s on-screen status notifications. • The battery life was impressive, I managed to get just under 40 hours (39.5 to be precise) Out of the box the Inzone H7 connected effortlessly with my Dell Inspiron 7506 2in1 laptop. The H7 gave me a totally immersive listening experience. As with the recently launched LinkBuds S (which I reviewed earlier this month) the H7 offers 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer, which analyses the shape of the ear so I could better hear the distance and direction of opponents in games. This is meant to provide an in-game advantage, but sadly it didn’t improve my scorecard! At low frequencies the powerful bass made deep sounds like explosions and car/plane engines sound incredibly lifelike. I particularly liked the design of the microphone which I allowed me to place it close to my mouth. The software* (Inzone Hub Version1.0.3.0) allowed me to customise the H7 listening experience by customising a wide range of operations to my personal preferences, a variety of sound and hardware settings allowed me to fine tune the sound frequencies using the EQ feature to achieve more clarity and greater immersion in the games. This was my first experience using a gaming headset and I wasn’t disappointed. * Inzone Hub Version 1.0.3.0 not available for Mac at the time of writing this review. 360 Sound Personalizer is available for Mac and Windows 10/11

Good looking gaming headphones out of the box. Look well matched to the PS5 along with any high end PC. Very easy to use straight away as no drivers are required, just select PS or PC with the switch on the side of the dongle and it connects instantly. When connecting to the PC you get a nice suite of software with the INZONE pack. It enables you to customise your sound settings in some detail (equaliser etc.). As for the in-game spatial sound option, it's excellent and on Rainbow Six you can clearly hear the footsteps around you giving you the advantage. I didn't notice any delay in sound at all which was a concern with them being wireless for competitive gameplay. The sound level wasn't quite as loud as wired headphones but this didn't cause any real problems. Battery life is great giving hours of game play which is easily achievable due to the comfortable fit of these light headphones and the ability to move around without wires is a real bonus. My overall opinion is that these are a great aquisition to any gamer and a solid alternative to high end cabled headphones (better in some respects). They could be improved by an increase in volume and a stand/charging stand that is supplied with other gaming headsets. These are the only two reasons they haven't got 5 stars, close to outstanding Sony.

I'm a just-over-middle-aged closet gamer, there I've said it. I love gaming. Phew. As a kid, I genuinely loved gaming. My parents didn't get it, the joy I got from playing on a computer that had less processing power than a modern day TV remote, the joy I got from playing a flight simulator game that was literally just 2 dotted lines and a blinking cursor. My 8 year old self was a jet fighter pilot and I was landing under tricky conditions all whilst sat cross legged in the comfort of my 1970's home. I loved it, it took me somewhere in my imagination, it enabled me to do things and go places I could only ever dream of and all it took was 2 dotted lines, a blinking cursor and silence. Yes, silence. The games I played were pretty much silent. Whether the game makers of my time were stifled by technology (or lack of) or imagination I do not know - but sound was either absent or minimal. Game makers of today have realised that we feel much more of what we hear than what we see. When was the last time you looked at something that made the hairs on the back of your neck prickle? Probably never, but sound has the ability to do this time and time again so audio has become a big part of gaming - they even hand out awards for those sweeping gaming soundtracks. I'm quietly (pun intended) delighted that my kids have become gamers, this gives me the excuse to indulge too - I get serious brownie points at home for keeping the kids occupied and entertained when I sneak off to join them in whatever the game of the moment is. We're lucky, the four of us have all got a console each and when we squad together the laughter, the passion and the JOY we share is palpable. Our family works as a team to defeat Baron Whatshisface or Brian the alien from Mars. Smiles all round, win or lose. They are better than me of course, their fingers (and minds) working at lightning pace compared to mine - but they protect me, they coach me and they take care of me in whichever far flung island we're exploring. It's a nice feeling for them, and for me. But I'm getting better, I'm getting sharper - all thanks to sound. I've started using the INZONE H7's and they've given me an edge that they don't have. I hear things that they miss. I get more notice when someone is creeping up on me readying to attack. I can hear the re-load way before them. Whilst I'm still not as good as them (and without the ability to turn back time never will be), I can compete better and surprise them when I'm unexpectedly one or more steps ahead of them. The ability of this headset to place sound with such precision amazes me, all credit to Sony and the game makers for caring so much about sound. Whilst my kids are not playing with cotton wool in their ears they are missing a good chunk of detail. It's a shame as the efforts of the creators can't fully be appreciated without this headset - imagine if the Motown greats had been recorded not in the Motown Studios and therefore lacking that Motown signature sound - they wouldn't be the same, they maybe would be only half as good. What would be wasted on the kids though is the quality of sound re-production, whilst gunshots and explosions and the quiet footsteps in a dark corner can be utterly terrifying mid game they'd overlook (overhear?) the depth and warmth of the in-game soundtracks - the stuff away from the action - the stuff only the "just-over-middle-aged" are allowed to enjoy. I'm tempted to write that all is not perfect, but instead I'll say more accurately that all is not clear. It's not clear why the supplied dongle is required to pair the Headset to a Sony PS5 for example, whilst the dongle is cute and has a funky white light I don't understand why it cannot pair natively. I'm sure there must be a good technical reason why not. At the time of writing the apps (certainly for iOS) were not available to tweak the settings and update the firmware. I'm sure these will appear soon. Or why any of this just can't be done directly via the PS5. What is clear though, is the difference the Headset makes to my enjoyment of gaming. The shared joy gaming with my kids cannot be beaten, but the joy I alone get from gaming has gone up a level for sure. Just as clear is the effort Sony have gone to regarding sustainability, the packaging is the best I have seen for recycling - gone are the days of keeping boxes as trophies (quite right too - recycle asap), Sony have made the packaging fully recyclable. Inevitably the kids have had a go, they are all impressed and of course all want a pair of their own (thanks Sony, NOT!) as they all praised the good sound, the good fit, the clear microphone and the comfort of wearing them for much longer periods than the odd hour I can personally squeeze in. In fact, I couldn't be certain which one of them has them squirrelled away for their own use right now. A gap in my life has been filled, a gap that first appeared for me in the 70's. I can only wonder what the addition of a roaring jet engine in 360 surround would have made to my 2 dotted lines and blinking cursor.

The Sony Inzone H7 is a superb headset. The design is 'sleek' and modern looking and it feels a substantial and quality piece of kit. They are extremely comfortable - I wear glasses and still found they sat nicely over my ears. The sound quality is excellent, the noise reduction is effective, good battery life, works well with phone, PC and games console. The 'flip to mute' microphone is highly effective, flipping the microphone mutes the sound automatically. Although they retail in a more premium price bracket, i would definitely recommend.

I bought these wanting to try them out since I already own the pulse 3d headset and the H7 blew me away with how lightweight, comfy and how good the sound quality was.

The H7 Gaming Headphones are pure quality and so easy to use. Being slightly restricted due to no PS I have used them on the PC and a pad and some of the time in unison as this is one of the features you can do. The microphone just glides to where you need it and on lifting it, it automatically mutes you from your phone call or in gaming. The build quality is superb, very robust but at the same time very light, also the cushion affect is very soft on your ears to the amount that you forget you have them on, just endless happy gaming or listening to music. The array of sound in your ears is immense, you can virtually pinpoint any noises around you which makes the task of sniper games that much easier and the sounds of audiences and crowds is like being in the live atmosphere. After using the H7’s for a few weeks now, I haven’t found any negatives with them. I will update you on this if there are any. But being a product of Sony the negative probably wouldn’t be worth writing about. Immense.

I'm using these on a Sony PlayStation 5 and they will be replacing my Sony PlayStation Gold headset. The Sony H7 is a big upgrade and one worth making. The absolute best thing about the H7s is the sheer comfort. They feel so light on your head, meaning hours of back to back gaming is easily achieved. I can’t believe how comfortable they are. The H7 are larger than the Golds but feel lighter when wearing. The ear cup completely covers your ear and work brilliantly with the head band to create no discomfort or stress points. Control wise- you get - A USB-C charge port. - A power button. - A chat/game control- which allows you to balance the sound between your friends and the game itself. - A volume control- which is a jog wheel design to allow precise adjustment. - A boom mic, which when lifted puts the headset into mute. They sound great. Battery wise there’s a claimed up-to 40 hours and I’d agree which is plenty enough. They are wireless. Set up was a doddle- insert the dongle (into the front of your PS5, select PS5 on the dongle itself) and a few seconds later they were paired and working. The mic is clearly much better than as I’ve had to move it away from my mouth as my friends were all saying I sounded much louder and clearer than before. Great if your looking for a premium headset to match your PS5 console. And they come in plastic-free packaging which is also a fantastic bonus.

I found Sony’s new Inzone H7 wireless gaming headset to be beautifully designed and supremely comfortable to wear for long periods. These headphones, weighing only 325 grams, have a broad, conformingly cushioned headband which distributes weight lightly and evenly and soft, close-fitting earcups with volume, microphone and USB charging controls on the left side and power, Bluetooth, and game/chat balance controls on the right. A high-quality, bidirectional, easily shaped microphone is located on the left earcup – off when positioned vertically and on when horizontal. A very useful feature is the Game/Chat function allowing game noise to be reduced and the talk function increased both for gaming allies and telephone calls. One full charge provides up to forty hours of continuous play with a ten-minute boost yielding another full hour of gaming. These innovative design characteristics are surpassed only by the headset’s wonderful sound quality. Installing the Sony Inzone Hub software on a computer, and linking the headset with the transceiver supplied, permits a constellation of specialist audio enhancements, all derived from Sony’s sound research, including selecting and customising the Equalizer settings, adjusting the dynamic range, and setting the spatial sound. For example, in gaming mode, 360-degree spatial sound may enable one opponent to sense the presence of another even before they are seen. In my experience, setting both the bass boost and the spatial sound to on, and the dynamic range to high compartmentalises sound with stunning clarity giving clear, crisp high frequencies, powerful bass effects and a sustained, authentic, distortion-free midrange. These many features far outweigh active noise cancellation which is unavailable on this headset. Older audiophiles will certainly appreciate the online help and support for this product available on the Sony website as well as printed materials in ten different languages. In summary, not only will the H7 headset provide a fully immersive adversarial experience for Play Station Five gamers, complete with realistic explosions and gunfire, but in moments of tranquillity the warm stereo textures of recital, concert hall and operatic performances will be also equally enjoyed by serious music-lovers.

I am not a regular gamer if anything I am a part time gamer with not a lot of time but when I play its with wireless headset to keep the noise down and not upset the wife. I used to use SBH60 wieless head set when playing my few games I have. Not the best for gaming I am aware so I thought I would try a new head set from Sony the Inzone H7 and boy was a massive difference to my old set. The sound quality is the best I have heard from a head set especially when you downloaded the software and adjust the setting to your liking and use the 360 Spatial Sound you can even hear a pin drop in your game or even the direction of a shot which is awesome in my book The headset is very comfortable to wear my last stint lasted five hours with no sweaty ears or the band over your head which can hurt sometimes after time as Sony has the padding is over the headband and ear cups and the earcups have vents in towards the rear which overcomes the sweat issue. Talking about a long time I have had this headset for two weeks and I have only charged them once I must have played for 20 hours so far and the soft ware tells me I still have 40% charge left. Game play is aweesome even more now than I can play Call of Duty on my Sony xperia phone connected via bluetooth via the dongle connected to my pc the results are great and i can even answer my phone during games with the Microphone pulled down put the mic up it mutes the mic it really does seem that Sony has got this right which is good for gaming and gamer's alike where you play as a team and talk to each orther during game play.

I reviewed the H7 using bluetooth connection. The fit of the headphones is superb and the cups are both light and comfortable with no feeling of tightness around my head. Even in the very hot UK weather recently they are comfortable to wear for long periods and the sound whilst very clear was rather thin. However once I had loaded the Inzone app the options for customising the sound both heard and via the microphone is transformed. With both an equaIiser and reset settings for music/video, custom and microphone volume You can set up and name your own sound profiles also for spatial sound and to preset volume, game chat balance and dynamic range

These headphones are really comfortable, even for long periods of time. The sound quality is great with a nice amount of low end that other headsets tend to lack. This combined with the noise cancelling creates a very immersive experience that I have not had with other headphones. The volume wheel and game/chat buttons make controlling audio much easier when in-game as opposed to exiting the game and going into settings.

Expensive they may be but totally worth it. These are really comfortable, having no discomfort after a full day wearing them. The sound production is fantastic being exceptionally clear with a spot on balance. The battery life is over 30 hours.

Firstly, these are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods when gaming, the headband and earpieces are well padded. The headphones can be quickly charged using the supplied USB cable, although a charger is not supplied. Once charged they last several days of heavy use before needing recharging. The review is based on my use for listening to music, and my 20 year old son's use as an avid gamer. The sound is excellent, and can be personalised using the Inzone Hub PC software which was easy to download, and allowed changes to bass and treble. My son was impressed with the quality of the sound, and the spatial effects, commenting that he could hear where the sounds were originating from when gaming, and was able to clearly hear some of the more subtle game sounds. I listened using the bluetooth connection to my computer, whereas my son used the supplied USB transmitter. The microphone was easy to use, pulling down to use and pushing back up to mute. It was easy to make and receive calls when connected to my phone via bluetooth. My son said that, unlike with his existing gaming headphones, the microphone stayed in place during games in which he moved his head a lot. The controls on the side were easy to use to control volume levels and switching oo and off. The packaging was good, and all materials used in the packaging were recyclable. The only dissappointing aspect as far as my son was concerned was the absence of flashing lights!! Not a feature tha bothered me. All in all, excellent all round headphones for both gaming and music listening.p

This is a really nice headset and with the white and black colouring it goes nicely with the PS5. I purchased the Pulse 3D headset last year (2021) but I found they were to small for my ears and i'd get sore ears but with the H7 headset my ears fit nicely in the earpieces as the earpieces are longer top to bottom. The H7 headset also uses a fabric material for the earpiece material and not the "faux leather" material used on the Pulse 3D headset so I find my ears dont get as warm while playing games on the PS5. The H7 also comes with a seperate dongle that can switch between the PS5 and a PC if you game on that platform also. The H7 has a built in microphone which can be switched on or off by flipping the stalk up (off) or down (on) a really nice touch. I've tried the H7 on 2 games Sniper Elite 5 and Astro's Playroom as it's a Sony Game. The sound was crisp and clear on the H7 playing Sniper Elite 5 so much so I had to turn the music down via the game settings. Playing Astro's Playroom was a joy and the H7 took full advantage of the 360 spacial sound feature. Some of the interactive PS5 controller features will also transfer to this headset while playing Astro's Playroom.

The Sony Inzone H7 wireless gaming headset is the replacement for my outgoing PlayStation wireless Stereo headset 2.0. And what a difference it is. Out of the box comes a cable, dongle and the headset itself. The design, look and feel of the H7 is smooth but so simplistic at the same time. This is definitely a game changer in terms of what gaming headphones can do. There are so many great things that stick out on the H7 compared to some of its predecessors. My top 5 great things are: 1. Weareability. It is so easy to wear and no matter the size of your head, it just feels snug. 2. Wireless capabilities allows you to roam further than bluetooth and the quality of sound is so crystal clear so that trip to the kitchen to fix a snack while on a game you don't lose any sound quality at all. 3. Volume control!! Great to see a volume dial on the headset 4. Connection to more than one device. Whether you're on your pc or PlayStation, you can also connect to your phone at the same time. Takes some getting used to especially if music automatically kicks in but so love this feature because now I can take a call and not have to remove my gaming headset! 5. Quality of sound. Thanks to the 360 spatial sound, you can hear everything and it is extremely clear. The microphone is sharp and already gamers commented on how clear I sound compared to previously and its so easy to mute lifting the mic up. One other fantastic change I was pleased about was the quality of the ear cushions. I went through 5 headset 2.0s because the material kept stripping away! I am so pleased with this product! I do have a not so good observation however. The audio does lack deep bass. Forgive me because I am an owner of the world class xm3 headphones so in terms of sound quality providing those deep bass tones, the H7 could improve on that, but this is my only small thing that could be better in future models. The look, feel and design all fit well with the PlayStation 5 family of products too so it's a bonus! Can only imagine what the H9 improves on. I would definitely recommend this product! The H7 Inzone headset is an absolute game changer for me compared to using my old plug in headset. First of all the comfort is first class and can be worn for hours. It’s so convenient being able to move around without getting wires caught which are usually connected to the handset. The length of battery life is amazing on a single charge. The best feature however, is by far the sound quality. No kidding this headset literally emerges you into the game with the 360 spatial sound. As for external noise it cuts it out completely. The microphone is placed at a angle so you aren’t aware of it in the same way as other mics yet the quality is even better. If you are looking for a gaming headset that ticks all the boxes then this is your product as this has made my online gaming experience far better. Yet again Sony delivers on a quality product.

These headphones are by far the lightest of similar brands that I’ve used. I use these for several hours at a time and the foam padding on earphones and head strap make them extremely comfortable. The mic is conveniently placed for ease of use when gaming. The clarity of sound from mic I am told by friends is exceptional. The sound is awesome with the benefit of noise cancelling making the gaming or music experience second to none.the volume control is via a handily placed roller ball on the headset itself.Bluetooth connection is quick and simple.Would definitely recommend as a purchase for gaming or music.

These headphones are really really good, they are vert comfortable and sound proof relating to other noise in the room. The ability to switch from PS5 use to PC use is brilliant. The fit completely covering the ear is good and the microphone is just at the correct level. All in all both myself and grandchildren think they are first class for gaming

Sound is fantastic but friends say I sound like I am talking into a tin can. So much feedback in my own ears when talking and is distracting.

Sony have launched three new Gaming Headsets, the wired Inzone H3, and the wireless Inzone H7 and H9 (The H9 has noise cancelling capability), and I have been asked by Sony to undertake a review of the Inzone H7. In keeping with Sony's aim to help the planet, the packaging is all cardboard, and there are no plastic inserts. There is sufficient information printed on the outer sleeve to describe what is inside and the inner box is simply a sturdy black cardboard box, with the only printing being on the inner lid showing three steps on how to start getting connected to either a Mobile Phone, PS5 or PC (pics 1-3) and I had no problems connecting the headset to my Android Phone and Windows 10 Laptop, after downloading the INZONE APP SOFTWARE from the web site. Contained within the box is the H7 Headset, a 2.4GHz Wireless Receiver (with side button to select between PS5 or PC), and a USB-C charging cable (but no charging plug). There are a few information leaflets, but there is NO Instruction Manual, (this can be downloaded and printed from the Sony Website), and there isn't a Case to store the headset in, both of which I feel really should be included in view of the retail price of this product. Gaming Headsets are usually distinguishable by there Bold Graphics and colours, and I suspect that those probably appeal more to the "younger generation", so first impressions are that the Headset appears to be an understated design, being simply white with black underneath the headband and black ear pads(Pics 4/5). However, there are now lots of "older generation" gamers out there, who may no longer want something quite so "In your Face" and so this headset fits the bill nicely. Not only that, as well as being great for gaming they can equally be used out and about as a decent pair of audio headphones, with call facilities, when listening to music, the bluetooth button (by pressing it quickly 1,2 or 3 times) can be used to pause music, select next track, or select previous track, (NB:I could only get it to restart the same track, but maybe that was a problem with my phone). The headset definitely looks and feels well made, and very sturdy, there is nothing flimsy about it, and with care they should last a very long time. I found it to be a really good fit and the ear pads are soft and very comfortable and so it can be worn for long periods of time. Sony say the ear pads are breathable, but my ears did still start to feel a little warm after a while, but to be honest this happens with all the "over ear" headphones I have ever used, and its not really an issue for me. The only minor point is that, being white, it did tend to pick up marks from the wooden table I was using. The boom Microphone is incorporated into the left hand ear cup, and is activated/deactivated by flipping up or down. There is a USB-C charging port and a black scroll button for the master volume. (pic 6) On the right hand ear cup there is the On/Off Power Button, Bluetooth Button, and Game/Chat buttons, (the latter enables you to switch the emphasis from in game sounds to chat and vice versa).(Pic 7) NB IMPORTANT: You need to check that the sound settings on your PC are correct (right click on the volume icon in taskbar and select sound settings), then where it says "choose your OUTPUT device" you select "Inzone H7/GAME and NOT Inzone H7/Chat (See Pics 8/9), it does appear to adversely affect the sound quality, and the Game/Chat buttons won't work properly if it is set at "Chat". Also just make sure that the INPUT device is showing as Headset Microphone CHAT. INZONE HUB SOFTWARE: I primarily use my PC for gaming, so the Inzone App, which is specifically for these headsets, does have some really useful features.(pics 10/11) The first one is that it identifies if your headset is connected ok as a headset icon appears together with various settings options. There is a battery status indicator, a microphone icon showing if it is on or off, and whether you are connected to a device via bluetooth, and that brings me to one really neat feature in that you can connect the headset to your PC and Mobile phone and use BOTH at the same time. You can still make and receive calls whilst in game, and if you want to you can also listen to music from your device. The volume controls for my Pc and mobile phone worked independently of each other, with the scroll wheel on the headset adjusting the overall volume of both. Within the Inzone App there are the options to adjust:- 1. Sound Settings: Their is a Graphic Equaliser and this can be quickly set to "Bass Boost", "Flat" or "Music/Video" and there is also an option to customise the equaliser settings. There is a 360 Spatial Sound Facility, which 'widens' the sounds that you hear around you, although on occasions I felt that it could be a little "echoey" so a button allowing you to increase or reduce this effect would have been useful, but you can turn it off if you prefer. The spatial sound effect can apparently be personalised for you by uploading photos of your ears, using your mobile phone, and was relatively easy to do following the clear instructions. I am not really certain if this has any effect on the overall sound quality and may only be a marketing gimmick, but with Sony developing their 360 Reality Audio, it may be that every little helps. You can also select Dynamic Range with the options of High, low or off. Once you have tweaked the various sound settings, you can save them by creating a Sound Profile for that particular game. You can therefore adjust the settings for different games by simply creating a new profile for each game. In sound settings you can also adjust the Master Volume, Game/Chat balance (as well as via the headset), and microphone, but unfortunately these cannot be saved in the individual "Game Profiles". There is also another neat feature called "Sidetone". This enables you to increase or reduce the amount of your own voice that you can hear through your headset whilst talking, which is a good way of checking that your mic is switched on. But it also enables you to hear the sounds around you, and this is great if you are expecting a visitor or parcel delivery, just turn it up to Full and you can hear the doorbell. 2.Device Settings: Here you can adjust how long before the device powers off, whether bluetooth is turned on or off each time, and with the bluetooth connection, whether you want to have priority on sound quality or a stable connection....(NB:none of these features can be saved in the Sound Profile for individual games). 3.App Sync Settings: I have got to say that the online instructions are limited, and so far I have not been able to find out what this feature actually does. USING THE HEADPHONES: 1. Game Sound Quality: I was immediately pleased with how clear and solid the sound quality was on these headphone and very immersive. I could hear the direction of the sounds around me, and where the enemy were moving around, and in fact I could tell when they were about to come into view around a corner...except when they were being stealthy of course. I was advised by friends in game that the microphone sounded clear, and with no issues, and you can also adjust the emphasis on Chat or Game sounds by using the Game/Chat buttons on the headset, (but ensure PC sound settings are correct as mentioned above). 2. Music Sound Quality: When connected to my Android Phone and listening to music, it is clear that these are compatible with Sony's own 360 Reality Audio "a new immersive music experience that uses Sony‘s (object-based) 360 Spatial Sound technology" . Consequently these can be used as normal headphones as well as a gaming headset, and the sound quality is very good. The headset supports the SBC and AAC bluetooth codecs, but not Sony's high quality LDAC codec, and it would have been nice if I could have connected them to Sony's Headphone App on my mobile phone to tweak the equaliser and spatial sound settings. 3. Battery Life is excellent, Sony claim this is approx 40 hours using just game and chat, but this can reduce to 25 hours if connected for phone calls via bluetooth, and even less if you are listening to music at the same time, as you would expect. As well as the staus indicator in the Inzone App, an orange light will flash when the battery gets lower than 20%, but Sony claim that just 10 minutes on charge will give an extra hours play time. In conclusion, this is a great wireless Gaming Headset, comfortable and sturdy, and easy to use and with some really useful features. They generate a good multi dimensional sound quality which makes your games more immersive. Furthermore with a clean design they can be use used as normal audio headphones, without looking "Garish" and whilst in my opinion the sound quality wasn't quite as crisp clear as the Sony noise cancelling audio headphones that I own, it is still very good and so if you could only afford one headset, and you are into gaming, then these are well worth having. The ability to connect to Sony's Headphone app on a mobile phone and to adjust the Inzone Spatial settings would have been nice additional features.....and maybe a storage case.

I must start by saying that the packing is excellent a lot of thought has gone into the design of this and I don’t think any plastic has been used ~ I would say it’s a 100% recyclable and minimalist but functional. The documents included are also the bear minimum which is great, they do include a sticker sheet though! I didn’t need any instructions to get me started which I liked. The H7 headset is very comfortable to wear, even after a couple of hours, the padding on the head band is brilliant, you’d hardly know you had headset on. The ear pieces are also well engineering soft on the ears and provide good sound insulation. Let’s also not forget they are wireless no cable to get caught up in allowing much more freedom of movement! The wireless USD dongle works extremely well, Windows 10 detects & configures it as it should, there is a light built into the front of it which flashes when configuring the remains on solid white (not sure that this is necessary possibly a waste of energy?). The dongle also has a slider switch on the side to select PC or Sony PS5 mode. I have only used these on my PC to date to play Minecraft and couple of Star Wars Games, I’ve listened to music and live sport too and I must say I’m extremely impressed with the sound quality which is amazing ~ especially when the 360 Spatial Sound is configured using the App on my iPhone to measure my ears creating a personal hearing profile! I couldn’t get this to work automatically but to be honest the manual setup using the camera is simple as is the integration with Inzone App on my Windows PC. The Inzone Hub, which is easy to download and configure contains a Graphics Equalizer with settings for various sound profiles pre-configured this is a good piece of software, again easy to install. The flip up/flip down microphone is a well thought out nice feature too. The buttons on the earcups which control features like volume and Game/Chat could have been better ergonomically designed but that’s being a bit picky. Overall, I’m really pleased with these and would recommend them I do like Sony products and am pleased they are moving into the gaming arena.

The first thing that I noticed with this gaming headset is the high quality packaging it was presented in. The headset was very well packaged to protect it from transit damage. In fact, I still use the inner box it was shipped in to store and protect the headset when not in use. This gaming headset has a top quality feel and the ear pads are luxuriously comfortable to wear. It’s easily adjusted to fit the head and forms a good seal around the ears without any uncomfortable pressure, making them suitable for long term gaming/use. There is a ‘flexible stem’, or boom microphone as Sony call it, attached to the left ear cup which is fully adjustable up, down and in or out. Raising the boom microphone will turn it off . On the rear of the left ear cup there is a volume control wheel that is easy to adjust. I find this really good because it is easy to locate without having to blindly fiddle around behind the left ear cup to adjust the sound volume. There is also a USB-C charging connection on the bottom of the left ear cup. On the bottom of the right ear cup there are three buttons, On/Off, Bluetooth and Game/Chat. The set-up is really easy to understand, and even me as a pensioner, found it quite intuitive without the need to look up too many instructions. On my pc for example, it was simply a matter of plugging in the USB transceiver, selecting pc on the transceiver and away you go. You can also use the Bluetooth function to connect the headset to a pc, laptop, smart phone or TV. It is also possible to connect by Bluetooth to a smartphone and make calls while connected to a gaming pc through the USB transceiver. When gaming the sound is outstanding, and although I am no sound engineer, I found the spatial awareness characteristics of this headset gave a very realistic experience of being right in on the gaming scene. It allows you to be totally immersed in any game. The bass sound and balance were spot on and the insulation from outside noise is excellent. After three hours of use the headset was still very comfortable to wear and my ears were still quite cool. Sony quotes 40 hours of use on a full charge, and although I have had about 35 hours of use so far, I have no reason to doubt this figure. Overall, I loved this headset. Great value for money. I was particularly impressed with the comfortable fit and the superb sound quality while gaming or just relaxing and listening to music. An extra bonus was that you can plug the headset in to charge while still gaming.
