I bought this TV. I usually get a Samsung but was told Sony was better. I don't agree. Poor sound quality. Poor wifi reception. Bluetooth in and out.

I bought an extended warranty after multiple emails were sent soliciting me to do so. I did about 7 months ago and now that the USB ports have gone out, they won't honor it.

By far the best tv i have ever owned,With the sony sound system as well its like being in a cinema.Alltogether faultless!!

the extended warranty is a scam. And this tv is not reliable. My first one broke after a year and the replacement broke after 16 months. They won't cover it even though I have an extended warranty. I am going to sue them.

The TV is amazing picture quality. However, the TV had sudden stopped working after less than 3 years and without any warning. No power is being received to the tv

WHEN ONE YEAR WAS UP( IT BROKE) HAS NOT WORKED SINCE IT HAS SIX RED LIGHTS NO PICTURE NO FIX NO MORE SONY

Purchased this T.V. via our local Euronics store. Great service but after a week the T.V. ceased to work. They immediately replaced it and everything has worked without fault. My only gripe is Google Android always wanting to dominate everything. Have been using Amazon Prime Video a lot but about every 3 weeks I have to set the Prime app back to default by removing updates to make it work again. If I do not do this the app will not work.

I bought this TV just over one year ago. It started to flicker the image and I was told there is nothing that can be done but to replace the TV. Very bad for what they call Bravia technology and how good it’s supposed to be.

Awesome set, good picture quality for the money at this size. Purchased the HT-A9 Atmos surround sound system to complete the set up only to find this 2020 tv was not compatible as a centre channel? This was obviously very frustrating after spending thousands on the tv and then almost £2000 on the HT-A9. If Sony could release a firmware patch to rectify this and allow the tv to act as the centre channel wirelessly then I would have given 5 stars.

Used for few days, no local tuner only app tv , netflix, amazon, media server os Sattelite TV via hdmi. Settings and possibilities are great, user friendly UX and RC great to control other device via HDMI CEC. Maybe for me Is missing extra possibility to setup led panel in background. But its also possible with contrast/brightness setup to do.

As a person who works in Hollywood productions, image is everything. this image rocks. Audio is solid as well.

Generally I'm very pleased with this device. Great sound, lovely clear screen. Battery life is relatively poor so requires frequent charging. Only 4Gb RAM for a modern device is ridiculous. I've loaded a music player and a podcast app and now it's telling me it's running low on memory.

I bought this tv a year and a half ago, it broke right away. No picture, turned black, only sounds left. Saddest part, sony doesnt even have a service cemter near my area. Sony customer service said, its out of warranty, but its just a year and a half. , sothey cant help me.Its juts a waste of momey. I have to bring the 85 inchestv to LA, 3.5 hrs drive away from my place.

I bought this yesterday Aug.2, 2021, great sounds and easy to connect.

I bought Sony tv in 2019 KD-65XG8796 from Currys 1 year and half later started getting issues with the tv .

I bought it over a year ago and it was working perfectly but my problem with it is that I didn't update but after I had done this everything is perfect

i bought this TV about month ago and display fault came after contact Sony support they told third-party to come and inspect after inspection no update or any case number so we even track my status Very slow service

Previous set only 2 yrs old but picture failed. A new set delivered in a week or so of report. Superb picture.

I am happy with this product and the performance. The cost was affordable and worth it.

bought around a year ago, now some times the app such as YouTube can stop working, I have to restart again and again. sometimes just not turning on with remote. need to cut main power off and restart

I bought the X850G and it went about 16 months no video

Stopped working...... really dissatisfied with the product. Always been a Sony guy, however I’m guessing the products are not as strong as in the past!!!!

I bought my TV a year ago, great up to date features and easy to work around them. WiFi kept dropping out and Song technical help sorted this problem. I would advise to buy a Sony Surround sound. I had a Bose one and it sometimes doesn’t find it. Have to keep turning my Bose off and on for it to find it. This can be frustrating. Apart from this it’s a brilliant TV.

Amazing TV the only trouble is with PC World that sold it when something goes wrong you can’t get hold of anybody and when you tried to phone Sony they give you a telephone number which doesn’t exist not very helpful.

I bought my tv over a year ago and I am very happy with my purchase. It was one of the best buys. Its awesome, picture and sound quality are brilliant. Sony you have spoilt me. No other brand will do.

needed a new TV as my previous TV from a now inferior brand went blue after only 4 years! boy i'm glad it did now.. everything you could want from a TV, and picture quality is spot on, even just in standard HD is ultra sharp, i've yet to even try 4k but imagine its going to be insane on this TV. My friends are probably fed up of me banging on about it by now!

Bought it few weeks back to replaced old TV. Love the colors and works well in game.

Having bought a Sony Bravia KD 55XG879 more than a year, for 750£, i now realise that this was the worst decision to buy a TV. Just aftrr 6 months a vertical line appeared on the screen, increased to two by time and then the width of the line increased.I contacted the customer support who asked for receipts, pictures and noriced some Cosmetic scratches on the screen. He contacted sony team and i was promised a replacement. When the delivery man came was the new TV he said he wouldn't take it because of the scratches, although they are in a different area where the lines are. Contacted customer service again. Asked to just solve the line problem without replacing the TV as i am not concerned about the scratches. He said Sony can not fix the lines and nees to replace the TV and because there some comsetic scratches they wont do anything. This is absolutely none sense. The company take a comsetic fault as an excuse not to repair a manufacturing fault. I opened Trustpilot to make a review and was schocked that Sony is rated 1.4/5. I wished i had a look at these reviewa before i wate 750£ on a Sony TV. Never in my life going to buy a Sony Ptoduct in the UK.

Lots of bugs with Android operating system. Lock ups requiring disconnecting from mains to initiate a hard reset. Wireless connection unstable despite having dedicated wireline adapter - have to run a LAN connection for stable picture. Following automatic software updates the set will randomly select and change between Freeview and Youview menus. when EPG is requested. A huge retrograde step compared to the 2010 Sony KDL-40NX713 it has replaced

Excellent tv awesome 4K shame it’s not 120hz for 120 FPS gaming other than that awesome for 4K blue rays and watching tv.

First time to buy a Sony TV, always out of my price range. Not impressed at all, picture keeps flickering, and the sound is very tinny.

Great TV, so far it has been working ok. The updates have been applied on time.

I would definitely recommend it specially once you compare it with other makes , you'll immediately figure , for the price, you are paying for the best possible worth of TV

I bought my TV last July and it already needs repairing. Somebody was called out last week and he said it needed a new mother board. I spent a lot of money on this Sony TV and we haven’t been able to have a TV in the lounge for around 3 weeks now. Awful service too. No TV in a lockdown.

Remarkably clear picture. Amazing on sports. Great sound from TV speakers

The main issue i have is the inability to get itv hub as it does not seem to accept a postcode The settings and menu are very difficult to navigate

I’ve owned 5 Samsung’s and bought my first Sony. Over all satisfied. Great price for an 85” which Samsung had only 83”s. Only draw back is that the screen has dimmed randomly(3-4 times in 15 months) and it freezes with all the apps. Per internet research of other Sony owners, I had to power off tv and replug to reboot system.

Have had this tv more than a year. Software updates keep apps current. I’m really enjoying it.

It’s nice but it’s no QLED. Ya know what I mean???

After two weeks I done a software update, and a few things changed, it took a few days to get things back to some sort of order, I have had Sony tvs before, but they came with a five year warranty, this one didn't as I bought it in Argos, its last years model, so I got it at a reasonable price, I would like an extended warranty from Sony as it would give me peace of mind.

I love this TV so much I bought another one for my kitchen it is easy to use and stream

This is a great television. WiFi connection has been a problem had to hard wire but very pleased

So I’ve had this tv for a few months now and I can say after using it that it’s a great telly for the price! Picture is very good for this level with only a few issues with motion blur on certain viewings. The features are great and the streaming is spot on too. Great bit of kit.

Had the TV for 9months and it's exactly what I expected. Although there are better 75" TVs I was on a budget of £1500 so this was the best model I could when I was looking. You definitely need to purchase a sound bar aswell to enhance the experience as the tv speakers are not very good but I knew that anyway beforehand. Overall very happy with my purchase

The fact that I am being asked to review this TV TV several years after buying it just about sums up how irritating it is. Constant issues getting ITV Hub, UKTV etc. and the guide switching between You View and Freeview. Numerous updates required and having to re-register on apps already registered for which is probably why I've received the request to review as Sony now think it's a new purchase, it isn't and next time I'll stick with Samsung.

Works brilliantly with my cinema surround sound, combined with a Sony amp

I bought this tele around 6 months ago , I am not 100% happy with my purchase. Have some features but can’t except much . Once WiFi get slower, the entire screen goes black .

I have lost some features and controls after original set up seems with updates some buttons on my remote now do nothing also I have lost BBC i player even though information says on internet only the older models have lost this feature. also the metal stand is a bit wide

Costco price for a 85 inch Sony TV, I could not pass. Instead of listing my likes (there are plenty for this TV at the price I paid), I will list my only dislike. Now higher price models has more to offer but I wasn’t willing to pay that price. My dislike for the TV I received is having to reboot it a few times since getting it.

Great ty but very very poor sound to just about hear it u need to put on number 75+ so had no choice but to buy sound bar so at least u can turn down to number 40 so DO NOTBUY unless u superman hearing .
