Human Interaction Engineer

Position Summary We develop the next-generation technologies that change the relationship between the human and digital world using the future Sony's Human Interaction technologies. Our development field is a user interface and applications and user experiences using them as Human Interaction Technology based on information processing. We need people who have the interest and ability to bring creative and innovative solutions to Human Interaction Technologies for entertainment content, financial services, healthcare services, remote communication, and digital twin society.
Responsibilities Research and development on Human Interaction Technology, including user interface, applications, innovative user experiences in XR, Natural UI, Cyber-Physical world, and Autonomous Systems.
-develop technologies of XR interactions based on leading-edge input/output devices, algorithms such as machine learning, graphics/audio technology, cognitive science, and psychology, and validate user naturalness, intuition, ease of use, and experience value.
-develop systems of Cyber-Physical interaction world based on human sensing and audio/graphic technology, data analysis, machine learning.
-develop prototypes indicate future concepts of next-generation XR interaction, Cyber-Physical world.
Required qualifications We need people who have one or more of the following capabilities:
- User interface, cognitive science, psychology, and emotional engineering.
- Creating customer value.
In addition, it is better to have the following.
- Experience in prototyping by integrating image, voice and sensor inputs, signal processing and machine learning algorithms, and graphics sound and haptics outputs.
- Design experience with C, Python, etc., design experience using microcomputers.
- Experience developing with game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
Also,
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications - Experience in prototyping by integrating image, voice and sensor inputs, signal processing and machine learning algorithms, and graphics sound and haptics outputs.
- Design experience with C, Python, etc., design experience using microcomputers.
- Experience developing with game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
- Ability to speak and write in Japanese fluently and idiomatically.
