 Executive Appointments Tokyo, Japan - At its Board of Directors Meeting held on April 23, 2003, Sony Corporation decided candidates for the positions of Director, Corporate Executive Officer, Executive Officer and Group Executive Officer. These selections have been made in conjunction with Sony's decision to adopt the "Company with Committees" principle as announced on January 28, 2003. The selections are subject to the approval of the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on June 20, 2003 (for Director candidates) and to the approval of the Board of Directors Meeting to be held on the same day (for Corporate Executive Officer, Executive Officer and Group Executive Officer candidates). Board of Directors The candidates for Board of Directors are as follows. Seven new director candidates have been selected (*).
