Sony current best TV per picture / price.
189 cm (75”) 20 March 2023 by Trinitron Single CRT Gun (United Kingdom)
Superb picture and the intolerable sale price. Miramax shootings are breath taking, so are face details, light and dark scenes as well as show colourful dynamics. Choose X95K over A95K for brighter picture, of course. QLED not for me as yet because of this. White colour bleeding not an issue here, do not understand what profi reviewers are up to. Sony fanatic here, understood? Hanged the TV on Sony SU-WL450 flat wall mount using four 8 / 16mms Rigifix bolts which meet Sony 2.5 times TV weight capacity requirement. Me and my wife did it, using two foot rests by the wall as an intermediate TV stand for making all connections and taking the deep breath before hooking it up onto the wall mount. Happy viewing. Next comes Transformers UHD Bumblebee movie. Attached pic note: cable mess will be tidied up in the summer.

Closest to OLED your gonna get without buying OLED
65" class (64.5" diag) 12 March 2023 by Mitsuracer (USA) Verified Purchaser Verified
Bought the XR65X95K from Best Buy in November of 2022. Big upgrade from our previous Sony 65” X800G. The setup took quite a while as the Wi-Fi didn’t want to connect and the Google account setup was finicky but finally got everything to work. Only thing I can’t get to operate correctly is the google Chromecasting from my iPhone? The picture/colors are great. This is the closest blacks you will get to OLED without actually buying an OLED. Tv gets really bright which is great for sun lit or bright artificial lighted rooms. Handles glare/reflections as good as can be expected. There is minimal blooming, mostly with pure black screen and large white subtitles which doesn’t bother me as I don’t watch a lot of content with subtitles. For everyday general content I barely ever notice it. Cable/Blu-ray/4k & streaming movies look great. Colors really pop but look natural which is why I love Sony. Motion handling and up scaling is top notch as it always is with Sony. This is our 5th Sony throughout the years and all previous ones have been trouble free and still working. Only reason I give it 4 stars is not sure on quality and long term durability. A lot of newer tv’s (not just Sony) have had more quality control issues lately. So time will tell. Hopefully if I ever need it Sony customer service is still as great as in the past. So far great purchase and love the TV. I cannot comment on the tv speakers as we have ours hooked up to a 5.1 audio receiver and external speakers.

Beautiful TV w/ some small issues
75" class (74.5" diag) 14 February 2023 by BLinBham (USA) Verified Purchaser Verified
First love the new TV. Coming from. 65” TCL 8 series Roku TV there is a difference in overall picture quality. The two issues I have with the tv is the remote. I feel like I’m 20 yo again having to point the remote direct at the tv and hitting the power button a couple of time to turn on/off tv. The other issue I have is the slow response of the UI Multiple times I have a decent delay in selecting app, show, etc. Not sure if it’s due to all the info on the Home Screen but could probably be fixed with an update. Unless I’m missing something, the FF and reverse functions are poorly designed. The last item I’ll mention is the rainbow effect on the screen when off or during screens with a lot of black, not a big deal but read about this prior to purchase. o sum it up, love the TV so far and will continue to adjust some of the pictures settings to make it even better, however the remote functions an the UI are probably my biggest complaints to date. I do like having both an android and Roku interface in the house now.

Better than OLED/Plasma
75" class (74.5" diag) 07 January 2023 by rssony (USA) Verified Purchaser Verified
For over 30 years, I had enjoyed Pioneer displays. My last being a Kuro 60 inch display (plasma). The Sony LED surpasses that plasma in every way: deeper blacks, much much brighter, much less power consumption and heat generation, smaller bevels, and so much more. Only if I go very close to the display can I begin to see hints at blooming. But in practice, I have not observed any. Black bars in letterboxed content remain black. The overall contrast is excellent. For HDR content, really enjoying the more true-to-life colors as well as peak brightness levels far above 100 nits. I put the TV in expert picture mode and played back many movies. The Pioneer plasma operated in 72 Hz when playing 24 fps content (each frame played back 3 times). Really happy that there's a mode that can completely elliminate any motion interpolation (I believe this Sony is playing back each frame 5 times). Love the remote; nice and small. Quick access to settings. In terms of sound, I cannot comment as I am using an external 5.1 speaker setup. I also don't use any of the built-in apps (we are using this TV really as just a display). The anti-glare screen is OK. For our needs, we are finding we still need to turn off lights for the best viewing experiences. But we needed to do that anyhow with our previous TVs/displays. Daytime viewing is excellent. I do wish though that there would be some indicator always illuminated while the TV was on. The screen, when no signal is input is extremely dark (nice!) and thus you cannot tell if the set is either still on or if it's off.

I did a lot of research and landed on the 85" X95K. The picture quality is crazy good and even better with a 4k ultra player. Picture needed little no tweaking out of the box. Also wanted to note that this TV has the best sound/speakers for a flat panel that I have ever heard. Most TVs the built speakers are crap. It was a premium price even on sale but worth it. Best Dolby HDR LED TV, period.
75" class (74.5" diag) 25 November 2022 by mykesx (USA) Verified Purchaser Verified
After returning two LG OLED TVs with burn in issues, I decided to give up on OLED. OLED has the best picture, but I watch too much CNBC and the logos and marquee got burned in permanently. I don’t want to stop watching the programming I prefer. LED doesn’t have a burn in problem, so I looked at an LED TV to replace the LG. I already have a Sony 950H in the bedroom and it is impressive with great picture and contrast. So I looked for the best Sony I could afford, given the warranty replacement from Best Buy. I have a MacBook Pro with micro LED and the picture is outstanding. So the A95K with its micro LED screen was quite appealing. I did consider the highly rated Samsung TV, but it only supports HDR10 and it is not a widely supported HDR format. Plus, I am much more impressed with Sony TVs in comparison to the Samsung we had 5 years ago. The LG TV had a custom wall mount. I was able to get a 75 inch Sony and wall mount for it for my trade in. Not a fan of google TV, but it’s the best smart TV OS around. I use Apple TV for everything, so it doesn’t matter anyway. I’m sure next year’s Sonys will only be better.

great tv with some down sides
75" class (74.5" diag) 21 November 2022 by Zack1324 (USA)
I’ve been using the 75in Sony x95k for about a week now. Their are some some down sides. Upgrading from the 65in sony a80j, I noticed a significant decrease in sound quality. Though that is to be expected since mini led tvs generally have worse sound quality than oleds. Although It is better than most it’s competition in sound quality. A big problem with this TV is the blooming, it is only noticeable in a darker environment and can be quite annoying with subtitles. Though the trade off is the amazing picture quality and color accuracy. It’s also much punchier than my previous oled and my Samsung q90t thanks to its 2000nits of peak brightness. It has great build quality but in my opinion not the greatest design. I definitely prefer the design of samsungs qn95b. The viewing angles are just ok. If you want less blooming and better blacks the 85in version does come with a higher end panel to combat it. out of the box the color accuracy is amazing and after calibration it’s probably the best in the market.

Great picture and build quality, but: 1) Apps are extremely limited, no Streaming Apps for local programming (add Spectrum, ATT...). 2) to Add Streaming Apps requires a Roku device installed on 1 of 2 - 4k Ports, 3) the XR65X95K is configured with only 2 @ 4k Ports, 4)the eArc Port is a 4k port used for soundbar connectivity, 5) there are no 4k ports available for a DVR, PlayStation... 6) we required a pedestal stand... purchased a functional 3rd party design, 7) the TV Remote is much improved, but is not backlit, Summary: We replaced a faultering 8k TV in a very bright room where primary viewing is Sports and News. Recommendation: We would buy the Sony 4k mini-led television once Sony offered 4 @ 4k ports and more Streaming Apps. We purchased a backlit remote and swivel pedestal stand to improve usability.

I recently purchased this product replace a Older LED Sony TV. The brightness of the TV is what I needed to watch Netflix and Amazon movies. All my other TVs produce a dark image from Amazon Netflix. Exceptional quality above and beyond expectations
XR75X95KAEP 15 September 2022 by Lord-Viridis (United Kingdom)
Upon receiving the television, I was impressed with the very robust packaging Sony are using for their televisions. The sturdy box was inset with firm polystyrene protectors on the top and bottom of the unit, however the setup of the unboxing is such that you don’t need to remove the television from the packaging to set it up. The bottom unit acts as a temporary stand whilst the top slides off, allowing you to add the stand before complete removal of the television. The tv includes brief and in depth manuals, and 2 remote controllers. One of these is the aluminium fronted, light-up remotes that you find in the master series televisions, so its nice that they are included in the “nearly master series” X95K range. Set up of the tv is very quick and if you have android or google services on your phone, a little quicker as it will log in via that device and get to quick work transferring account details and related apps across to the new tv. You are prompted to choose your hdmi connections visual type and will give assistance with “automatic options” that will set your colour profile, connection type as well as a few tuned setting for certain apps or devices. I will say one thing, when you get the tv, update it asap, that way when you connect a PS5, it will let you choose HDMI enhanced mode with VRR as well as local dimming. (Prior to update, the VRR mode would cancel out dimming and would hit image quality somewhat.) The build quality is exceptional, with plastic covers to hide all cables into the rear of the set, as well as covers to hide the stand attachment points. The set itself is quite heavy, though with a robust TV unit or heavy capacity wall mount, it holds well and is sturdy enough that it feels safe. The picture itself is absolutely fantastic, coming from a 2017 tv I am amazed at just how far image quality has came. The colour is stunning and peak luminance on HDR videos is so bright its hard to imagine a brighter display. I have found that by setting black level to medium, local dimming on high and contrast enhance to medium, the picture is so much like a well tuned OLED, with deep perfect blacks and super-bright whitepoints I truly am amazed when I see it on such titles as “for all mankind”, in fact if you want to see how good the tv can perform, I recommend S2 E1 during the sunrise on the moon scene. The scene shows Mini-LED in perfect usage, pitch black blacks and ultra bright whites. Nothing else comes close to it for a contrast display test for users. But what about blooming I hear you ask, Does it bloom? - yes Is it bad? - no Is it noticeable? - depends In scenes such as described above, no you don’t see blooming, the peak luminance will mask any bloom you might perceive, in fact in any HDR titles that deal with luminance data directly, you will very very rarely see any blooming. In SDR titles where luminance data is converted through the pictures colour, you can see some bloom, SOME. I find that if you sit within 15-20 degrees of the sides of the tv, you wont see bloom in any regular use excluding subtitles. (Subtitles are Mini-LEDs worst enemy) if you sit wider or lower than the tv, you can see bloom a little more. It’s just how the technology is working the polariser that blocks bloom to the front has limits on how wide it works. Through regular use, with a little set-up though, no.. you probably wont see blooming, and if you do you will mostly just think its coming from the retina scorching peak brightness. The sound from the speakers do give a level of immersion though obviously a soundbar set up would be used by most. If using a soundbar, you can set the TV speakers to work as the centre speaker, a welcome setting. If not using a soundbar, you'll still find many sound settings to tune the audio as you need. With options for voice emphasis, music, bass boost... The usual tried and tested Sony solutions. Results either way won't disappoint. For gaming the tv works extremely well, with a PS5 my games have never looked so good, and the options for image quality on the set are remarkably well tuned to deliver a quality that is what the games deserve. Colours and clarity truly pop out the screen, and dark titles such as assassins creed Valhalla look stunning in 4k HDR. Fire looks like fire, the night looks dark and the aurora over Norway is a sight to behold The tv in itself is absolutely stunning and as Sonys first dive into Mini-LED, its a firm win, I cannot stress just how impressed with not only the build quality but the most important thing, image quality. I've heard that this model is probably in the top 3 tvs you can buy at the moment, I wouldn't doubt it one second.

The Next, Next Level in 4K TVs
XR75X95KAEP 15 September 2022 by JFURL (United Kingdom)
I have held back on this review to make I was able to get the most out of it in every way that I could. When the TV arrived the first thing you notice is that it is a unit of gargantuan proportions. The box almost one of my living room walls, but saying that, when it came to unboxing this techno-beast Sony have put a lot of effort in to make sure that this part goes as smoothly as possible, and they have absolutely nailed it. After removing the initial contents such as the sleek brushed steel remote and paperwork the top of the box simply lifts off leaving the bottom still in the base of the packaging giving you access to the screen and the legs which you can install with immense ease. At this juncture you have option for three different positions to suit your feng sui critter inside. Low sits pretty much flush to your unit or stand. This does require the legs to be at each end bearing in mind its nearly 2m long. From here you can choose to raise them up to a height that accommodate a sound bar to sit underneath without hindering your viewing. Finally, there is that narrow feet option. This is the one I went for as I have a stand that I bought with my first 40” HD TV back in the day. I have to say I was a little worried that I might need to splash out for a new stand. Nope! It fits like a dream and the unit itself is extremely steady The setup was seamless and took very effort. The Google TV operating system really did most of the work and the out of the box settings were really good. When you start delving into the menus and looking for the finer details is when the fun begins and this process really brought out the inner nerd. The remote itself is very good and has all the functions you’d be looking for such as shortcut buttons to Prime, Disney, Netflix and Bravia Code. The latter actually gives you five free movies to Sony’s streaming service once you’re registered. The remote even has a find me function should you lose it. This brings me nicely onto the screen. I mean wow, just wow. Sony has branched into the Mini LED range. The LEDs are now 4 times smaller than they were in the X95J so can pack way more in which really helps with local dimming. The colours are absolutely breath taking and the depth just sucks you right into the screen. I watch a lot of films and have very varied taste in genre too. I must have watched at least 30 plus films in different formats and I am yet to find a fault with this. Given that this is a 75” I was interested to see how well it delivered on such a grand scale. It absolutely blew me away. To say that this is truly a cinematic I don’t think does it justice. Even in a brightly lit room the anti-glare and the auto-adjust back light means you don’t lose any noticeable picture quality. The blacks really deep and inky and there’s no blooming whatsoever that I could see, even when looking. You’re looking a screen that is getting very close to OLED black but with brightness that dazzles. Even Blu-rays are upscaled to an obscene level. I own a PS5 and when it comes to gaming it cranks it up to a level that I haven’t witnessed before. The fact that you get exclusive features and auto setup when hooking up the console made me lick my lips. The PS5 will tell the TV when you’re gaming and when you’re watching a movie, then automatically switch modes to suit best. This is a really nice touch as I use my PS5 for playing my movies. Playing Gran Tourismo 7 is always a pleasure. You add in the colours that I’ve just been talking about and the speed the processor it’s like being in the car itself and truly leaves you open mouthed You can really appreciate the differences with 4K/120fps & VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), but be aware that you do need to have the correct HMDI 2.1 cable and are using the compatible port, of which there are two. I played through Ghost of Tsushima on the PS4 but since getting this TV I decided to play through it again with the PS5 patch. The combination of the upgrade and the HDR, the screen it turns that game into something that close to moving art. I know I’m gushing a bit here but you really do have to see it to believe it. The apps are as you’d imagine polished and very accessible. The voice recognition on the remote works a dream searching through all of the streaming services and giving you a list of ways that you can watch, and if there is a charge. Perfect for people like me that have a multitude of streaming services. I was a little disappointed that the Disney+ app doesn’t support Dolby Atmos but does Dolby Vision when Netflix does both. Why this is I don’t know, but given this is Sony’s flagship model for 2022, I’d be expecting it to fulfil it’s potential on every front at the cost of £3999. Another app I felt let down with was AirPlay. I found that it was very hit and miss when connecting to this depending on what I was streaming to the TV. Live video streams from website would connect and disconnect or would say that the device could not be found on the TV yet it was listed on my phone as discoverable, but when music and photos were fine. Screen share was also hit and miss. When accessing the same kind of stream via the internet browser and playing in full screen mode Ambient Mode would kick in after a certain time and reset the stream. I went into the options to change the inactivity timer to longer it didn’t give me the option to. I had to disable the app entirely to enable the stream to be uninterrupted. This in turn puts the TV into sleep mode when you’re streaming music to it when Ambient Mode would’ve kicked in. Again, this is something that I’d imagine Sony to sort out with a software update as I can see from forums that quite a few people experienced the same problem as me. Sound is massively important to me. I have a 7.1.2 ch Dolby Atmos sound bar so I was really keen to see how the tv speakers performed. Usually when a TV is as thin as this one is it lacks in the sound department leaving it tinny and shallow, probably due to the fact that most people have supporting devices like myself - not here. I was taken aback at how rich it sounds. There’s depth and clarity and the object tracking sound works a dream. You have a number of options to cater your sound to your tastes with adding in voice clarity and 3D Surround Upscaling. There really is an embarrassment of riches. This TV really does have everything you want and a lot more, and with a few little software tweaks, which could be down to the developer and/or Sony, this can become an absolute master piece of technology. I look forward to many, many years of viewing. All the photos attached are taken directly from the TV with my phone.

After much research I decided to purchase the x95k mini led tv 75 inch model. Was afraid of burnin with oled and have a bright room. What an excellent choice. Upscaling on cable is good and streaming 4K is beyond excellent. Paired it with a Sonos beam and surround sound speakers. Could not be more pleased.

Fantastic Picture Quality, Superb Audio.
XR75X95KAEP 07 September 2022 by jumpsuit2 (United Kingdom)
The X95k television really is outstanding. It's a genuine entertainment Centre. Aesthetically the TV looks sleek with a titanium/silver bezel, wrapping the sides of the screen and maintaining a bezel-less look. It’s also worth noting the checkerboard pattern on the back panels. The TV also has multiple stand configurations and 2 remote controls. I use the premium remote, mainly for the way I can control attached devices, alter settings and picture / audio modes and watch streaming / VOD with it. It also lights up when moved (see photo) which is really useful when watching in a dark room and it even has a Finder function for locating it by voice if you lose it! I must say that at least 2 people are required to unpackage and install this TV due to its 57kg package carton weight and 44.1kg weight with fitted stand. I had 2 other people to help me fit the stand legs and then carefully lift the TV into position. It was great that there are 3 different stand configurations as you can see from my photos that I could not have used the TV cabinet it is on if the legs had not been attachable in the middle of the TV area. I've never seen anything like it before in terms of picture quality when streaming HD or 4k movies, playing HD files or gaming. I have a TV box attached too but mainly use the TV for the aforementioned purposes to get the most out its display capabilities. I have found Blooming is minimal (compared to my previous TV set) and the depth and crispness of the colours, shadows and highlights are amazing as is the audio output of the TV. I have never heard this high quality level of audio from a TV before without using a sound bar. The Acoustic Multi-Audio technology and Acoustic Auto Calibration work well, and really enhance your viewing experience. It has 60W total sound output, including two tweeters, two front-firing speakers and two subwoofers and is genuinely impressive whether watching a movie or a concert. The display and audio modes and settings are of course customisable and all serve their purposes well. You can use a light sensor mode to automatically adjust the brightness levels on your screen depending on the lighting in the room. This TV also includes an RGB light sensor that optimises colour and brightness of the picture to the light source and room environment. You also have power saving features available in the settings to alter the brightness and resolution of your screen if maximum display quality isn't essential. I had no trouble at all with setting up the TV. It was all self explanatory and was easy to connect my Google account to. logging in to the already installed Netflix and Amazon apps was no problem and many other apps including Disney and YouTube are also preinstalled. During setup, the TV uses the remote for sound tuning optimized to your space, or where you expect to regularly sit on the couch. Connecting Bluetooth devices such as headphones, my Xperia phone and an Android tablet was easy too. Sony's Bravia Core movie app looks great. There are some great family movies on there as well as an IMAX Enhanced Collection of movies. The only negative aspect of the app is that you get 5 free movie tokens with this TV but you currently can't purchase more. I hope that this will change in the future.

Sony Bravia XR75 So Good
XR75X95KAEP 03 September 2022 by Tex52 (United Kingdom)
First I must say we had a family debate about upgrading from the Sony KD55 to the 75” but even though we don’t have the largest living room it already it fits perfectly. The build quality is what you’d expect from Sony and this price bracket, quality materials, good cable management with covers to hide cabling and adjustable stand which is ideal to fit a sound bar underneath the set. From power up the Acoustic Calibration takes your breath away as it pings around your room maximising the sound for the individual area. Set up is so simple and easy to follow step by step. The picture quality is by far the best I’ve ever seen with HDR giving awesome picture detail whether watching movies, sport or soaps. You can watch from a wide viewing angle and with no reflection issues as with previous TV’s I’ve had.Sound quality is crystal clear and adjustable for speech, sport etc.Adjusting the picture and sound is easy and can be done whilst watching tv and not having to switch in and out of cumbersome menus. One click buttons for Disney+,Netflix & Amazon Prime on the remote make selection quick and easy.Apple Airplay & Miracast make sharing from mobiles and tablets a breeze.

Mini LED TV: Smart design & superb picture quality
XR75X95KAEP 02 September 2022 by Dr Dee (United Kingdom)
Sony's mini LED is a triumph. Having seen last year's X95J, this X95K moves the game up. First, the design. A 75 inch screen occupies a lot of space on the wall. A big screen with wires hanging off it was off putting in previous TV's. Sony has thought about the design, by creating interlacing panels so wires don't hang down. Every connection is tucked away behind the removable lattice panels. I wall mounted TV and for the first time none of the HDMI connection wires were visible- deliver clean, uncluttered without unsightly wires. Love it. Second , the picture quality is not sacrificed by switching to mini LED. The picture clarity, depth of colour. The TV has so many combinations of picture sound and input settings that everything was customisable. I would have preferred a bit more info in the start up guide as to which HDMI port was appropriate for my Sky Q box and my Blue Ray player. A bit of trial led me to work out that for Sky, the best HDMI socket was 3 and a 4k Blue Ray player could be plugged into either 1 or 4.Sound too is adjustable but by pairing with a sound bar worked best for me. At night I used the Bluetooth connection to pair up with headphones. The picture quality and depth of colour was great. For sport, TV and Movie viewing - individual settings worked. One of the major benefits is that the TV picture did not suffer as my living room is bright and picture quality did not suffer. Overall a great package, competitively priced.

Cinematic sound & vision whatever the content
XR75X95KAEP 31 August 2022 by davecres (United Kingdom)
This is an exceptional product and clearly has been manufactured to the highest standards.Unpacking and putting it together and connecting up took approx an hour and does require two people minimum to lift it. I like that you can have the feet at the ends or towards the centre to accommodate various stands. Ive got them towards the centre and the TV is very stable. The Sony TV came with two remote controls but not mentioned why in packaging but easy to work out after a while in that one is mainly sued for the Google TV side. There are some duplication of controls which make sense like settings, channels, audio etc. See picture showing both controls. As I don't have a Satellite dish I wasn't using this input but Digital TV via the Aerial scanned very quickly and setup the channels. However as I have a Cable TV box this was my preferred setting when you press the TV button on the remote as it's configurable. The 4K hires picture quality and upscaling from any of the inputs sources that you don't have as 4K is gorgeous and really comes into its own on wildlife and natures programmes. As it's a Google TV there are various Streaming android apps you can download and setup and these were as easy to configure as the TV itself. The Sony TV includes builtin airplay and Google Home so you can use this as a google hub. As it also has two built in Satellite inputs you don't need a separate box to plug in. The TV has the latest version standards for HDMI with 4 sockets. 3 at rear and one on the side. Aerial input for Free to air broadcast transmissions. All these sockets are neatly hidden behind panels that are flush with the TV. It can be wall mounted but Id advise buying the approved Sony Brackets and having it expertly fitted for safety and best experience. I do like the auto screen display change to Dolby Vision when the content is detected as such. The sound is superb from the inbuilt 6 speakers and does really follow the source on the picture of where the sound is located. A cinematic experience from whatever you're watching and crystal clear almost reflection free viewing wherever you re in the room. As part of the setup you can tailor the audio based on where you usually sit through the remote control which has a microphone and you can speak the commands instead for anything accessible on the TV All in all this Sony Bravia XR75X95K is visual and audio quality at its best and if you want to watch without disturbing others then you can pair and connect Bluetooth Headphones for private listening.

Great dark scene reproduction - super bright!
75" class (74.5" diag) 29 August 2022 by Ronnie1176 (USA) Verified Purchaser Verified
The secret to buying a great TV is to see how it performs in a dark scene. It's nothing worse than watching a dark scene in a horror film or action film and not know what's going on. Today's TVs seem to be fixated on deep blacks and vividness, which can hurt dark scene reproduction. I've never watched a show and said to myself, wow that black car sure looks black. This is why Sony's are the best TVs, they have the best dark scene reproduction. Only Samsungs have even come close. Next time you are at an electronics store, compare the TVs Demo modes and their ability to produce definition of shadows, people's dark hair, or night time scenes. This Sony X95k is the best of them all...the mini LEDs produce a super bright screen. I also love the super fast processing of its software...there is very little lag when going between apps.

Purchased this Sony, XR75X95K after reading many reviews and researching what this model has to offer. When i looked at the tV inperson side by side with other makes and models I was sold. This is replacing a Sony A8F OLED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV. The colors are sharper more defined and the blacks are blacker. the layout of the back of the TV is really clean wiith the removeable panels that conceal cords, etc. Sound is really good. Easy intuitive set up. Do your homework, see the XR75 in person see the difference the mini led display makes and I think you will be as happy as I am.

Stunning mini-LED Display
164 cm (65") 12 August 2022 by TX2022 (USA)
Watching this TV is a fully immersive experience; the picture is almost 3D. All of the colors and pictures are so rich and deep that they take me on a trip in the movies and TV I’m watching. I’ve truly never seen anything like this TV; the sound is also all encompassing, and similar to being in a movie theater. The colors are deep and expansive during every picture frame on the screen. Out of the box, set-up was easy; the TV is heavy, so I strongly recommend two people on the lift. There are two options for setting the feet of the stand; in the middle and on the outside. I chose the middle option for the sleekest look. The TV feet are solid and heavy; this provides me with peace of mind for the TV sitting on the stand. Syncing my Google account was a breeze, and setting up the TV settings was simple. Toggling through the menu is very easy on the eyes and doesn’t block the entire TV picture, which is a nice feature. The remote is ergonomic and has a pleasant texture on the outside; the buttons are also spread out and easy to navigate. This Sony mini-LED tv is truly in a league of its own; with outstanding graphics and picture quality, watching is a totally immersive experience.

Amazing Picture!

This new Sony Bravia tv absolutely blows away our current 65” led 4k tv. The mini led bulbs give an amazing brightness and clarity that is truly spectacular. This tv is much heavier than our other 65” though which is surprising for such a new tv. Even the style of the tv and the remote is amazing. Don’t has outdone themselves with this tv!

Great!
164 cm (65") 09 August 2022 by Sherry2 (USA)
We are very happy with this TV. We were looking for a new one for our living room and this one came in the right time. We have it on the wall right above our fireplace and it fills the place nicely. It is bigger than our previous Tv (also Sony) and it is such a big difference for us. The brightness of the picture is just right and the colors make the picture very realistic! The initial setup was fairly easy the only small hiccup was when we tried to hook it up with our gaming console but that was a user error and not a flaw of the TV. We are enjoying the smartness of Google TV and the experience itself is great. We haven’t tried the Bravia camera but that’s a plan for the near future. The sound is good however we plan on getting a sound bar for better cinema like experience. Overall, you cannot go wrong!!! Highly recommended!

Awesome Clarity
164 cm (65") 08 August 2022 by Shiny (USA)
The sony x95 mini led tv is a notch above the rest when it comes to display clarity. Surpasses all the top demo screens at display in the your neigbourhood tv store. Large number of localized dimming zones give a crisper contrast/darkness ratio across the screen. I have enjoyed watching true 4k content on this tv. Another plus with this tv is the sound. The sound settings are fully configurable and pack a punch. For the first time I was able to truly experience Dolby audio in my living room. A small let down is the UI which is vanilla android/google tv compared to some lower end tv units which have their own UI OS/software. Sony could have enhanced this aspect to score more. Overall I would rate the on the following specifications out of 5: Display quality/ 4k / HDR : 5 Configurability : 5 Sound quality : 5 Interface/UI : 3.5 Remote : 4 Design : 5

I replaced my tv with the Sony Bravia xr x95k mini led without doing much research on the product, and I couldn’t be happier! I’m not super technical, but while my last tv was only 4 years old, this one blows it out of the water! Has extra hdmi ports, the mini led is so incredibly clear, the speed is unmatched for streaming games, and the new hdmi system works with the Ps5 making it the best I’ve ever seen. It’s heavier than my last one, but at 65” that’s to be expected. If you’re hesitant, don’t be! It’s the best I’ve owned!

Still in awe!

From the first time we turned this TV on, I have been in awe! We left our 1 year old TV up while we checked this one out, and the difference is astounding! It has a phenomenal display with many next gen features. The colors are just amazingly rich and accurate and it has a great brightness level. The cognitive processor understands how humans see things and delivers everything in the best possible way... how cool is that?! It has low latency, and a high refresh rate of 120hz which is perfect for the latest console devices. We are enjoying gaming so much more with these features. A latest 2022 update provided options for more local dimming while in VRR mode for the games with that feature. Also perfect in a brightly lit room and showing true colors, more realistic shadows and great at motion handling which reduces blurring. Viewing angles for this TV are great for gatherings when there are multiple viewers. It has a long with the thin bezel that is complementary and sleek to just about any room. We have it hooked up to our receiver/sound system, but it also sounds amazing on its own and has Acoustic Multi Audio and Dolby Atlas. All in all I couldn't be happier with it. I've played around with it and tweaked the settings to perfection for my needs. It has so many amazing features that you just don't get with other brands. I'm definitely sold on the Mini LED technology now! Just check out these colors! Bravia on the left.

Best viewing experience I’ve ever had at home!
189 cm (75”) 01 August 2022 by Bbjniles (USA)
Sony is a brand that has earned its reputation for me, releasing solid, beautiful, long lived products that I never regret picking up. So how does this Bravia XR X95K 4K HDR Mini LED TV with smart Google TV stack up? Better than advertised, absolutely! As expected, the television came well packaged, strongly buffered by heavy cardboard and film, so that when removed from the box it was pristine, nary a scratch or scuff to be found. Be prepared to have a helper when it arrives, as when boxed, the TV is nearly 150 pounds. The first thing I noted once I had it removed from the packaging was how heavy duty the feet were. That alone gave me great confidence in how Sony had constructed this television. The Bravia’s feet are metal, sleek and modern, and you have two options for attaching them (something I wish I’d paid attention to from the description). The pictures I’d seen of the TV had the feet at the outer edges of the screen, probably for maximum stability, but there is an alternative…there are also inner mounting holes that you can use if you console table isn’t large enough to accommodate all 75 (or around 69 horizontally at the long end) inches of this thing. Because I wasn’t ready to mount the television on the wall (we are still considering where it’s final home will be), I purchased a rolling cart to hold the tv, believing my current console table would be too small. Had I known about the smaller foot mount option, I would’ve used my original console table and saved myself a few bucks, so keep that in mind. That said, I like having the tv on a rolling cart for now, and too, it allows me to point out another feature that proves Sony is keeping even the smallest design details in mind. Like no television I’ve had before, Sony has provided panels that cover the cords on the back of the tv (pictured) so that the Bravia cuts a clean, tidy profile. If your Bravia is flush mounted on a wall this isn’t such a big deal, but if you plan on having yours on a mount that revolves or sticks out, or on a rolling cart as ours is, this keeps everything looking sharp when you look at the tv’s profile or rear. Again, this isn’t a make or break feature, but rather something that tells me that the folks at Sony are innovative and leaving no potential upgrades unfinished. Which in turn gives me greater confidence for all those things I can’t see under the hood (or screen in this case). So how does it function? Again, flawlessly. The picture is bright and crisp, even when viewing fast, jerky action. There are no blurry artifacts from quick pans, something I often notice on lesser televisions when watching sports like soccer or basketball. The frame rate is blazing, and when playing video games, the screen is responsive and crystal clear, the colors vibrant and clean. I have no suggestions for improving anything on this score, as I don’t notice anything visually that is less than superb. Obviously the best viewing of the television is from straight in front, but the fall off on side viewing is gradual and better than expected. Its certainly clearer than any television I’ve previously owned, but still not perfect. What is close to perfect is the sound quality, which is better by great measure than any television I’ve listened to since flatscreens became the norm. I had decided that a sound bar was a requirement for flatscreens due to their slim profile and lack of large, front facing speakers, so the Bravia really surprised me by just how loud and crisp it produces sound. It isn’t quite as resonate and dynamic as my dedicated sound bar, but it’s pretty darn close, and given that a sound bar requires more space, more cords, and more cash, the minor improvement in sound just isn’t worth it to me. And did I mention that the Bravia calibrates the sound according to your room acoustics and your usual seating arrangement?…wow, how incredible is that! The Bravia’s speakers are more than sufficient to fill your living room or den with rich, deep, full sound to enrich any viewing experience. All the smart functions work as expected, and if you have any experience with those features you’ll have no problem navigating the menus powered by Google. Everything is intuitive, and the remote, while on the thin side, is easy to use, and responsive. Batteries are included. I know competitors have focused on the sparseness of their remotes (something I definitely don’t like), this Sony/Google remote gives you more buttons/options without going overboard. I’ve included a picture. Because I own other Sony products, and they’ve aged marvelously, I have great expectations for the life of this television. It looks sharp, both powered on and off, it’s performance is outstanding, and it offers me maximum simplicity using the Google Smart features. I couldn’t be happier, and I am happy to recommend!

Hands down the best tv ive ever owned. Set up is easy, especially when i have picky preferences. It was quick and seamless. Really enjoy the simplistic and bold look of the tv and the lack of clutter regarding wires is hige cause i have my gaming system, modem and router all set up in that area. The sound system is fantastic, as sounds with relation to the image make for a more engaging and realistic viewing experience. The smart tv is just that, im old school and need my remote but ive tested out the voice control features and it operates as ive intended using my voice control, simply amazing. Finally, the visual display of the tv is second to none. For example, when it comes to sharp contrast and brightness, you can readily discern tremendous depth, which allows you to immerse yourself into whatever youre watching…better yet, experiencing!

Wow! This TV is pretty amazing! To start, it is very easy to set up and can be done with one person all the way up to lifting it in place, and then on screen prompts making getting it started a breeze. The picture is incredible, there is so much detail! One of the screen savers (which is a super cool feature) actually makes you feel like you’re falling! Having the high def pictures with background music is pretty cool to just have on the TV in the background. And the sound is really pretty good, especially when there’s no visible speakers from the front of the tv! Having them behind the screen makes it sound like the noise is coming from where you see it, which is really cool. Overall I have no complaints, this is an incredible TV!

Awesome TV
164 cm (65") 24 July 2022 by Arno (USA)
I received a few days ago the SONY TV X95K BRAVIA XR 4K 65 inches and this is the best TV I have ever owned. First the look is incredible, very thin, you can hide all the cables thanks to the provided covers. Second the start up notice is well done and easy to follow. It describes really well all the connections available, and they are numerous. Obviously, antenna, cable TV, and optical audio output, even RS232C, HDMI 4x, Video in and USB 2x. Third is that the TV includes google TV, it helps a lot to set up the TV. When the TV goesin standby it displays pictures taken from my phone and store in my google account. It also finds all apps attached to your account. Fourth is the sound. It is amazing, most of the time the sound is not great because of the limited space to put proper speakers. On this TV I do not know how they did it but it sounds great, bass are awesome and the perceived sound is full. The sound set up is very important, and the result is great. I do not even plan to connect it to a sound system. Fifth concerns the picture quality, and in this area, this TV is just incredible. The color palette is huge and warm. Even with content not in 4K the picture is still great. The last one concerns the ability to control your TV through your WIFI with your phone. In conclusion, if you want a great TV, with a great sound and beautiful you can select this one without problem, you will not be disappointed.
