Good unit for the cost needs some additional features

I purchased a Sony TV so I thought I would get the cheapest Sony soundbar I could find....this makes the TV sound better but is nothing special.If I had more money at the time I would have spent more on one but this will do for now.

product is good, but I didn't receive the Bag Gift

I bought this to replace my ageing Denon mini hifi system and as part of a wider modernisation of my home entertainment systems. So far it has provided excellent sound quality the equal of my Denon system, is easy to set up and use and looks neat sat under my new Sony Bravia TV.

Very pleased with the sound quality - a great improvement on the system built into the TV. Previously, we had difficulty hearing dialogue but this is very clear. The instructions are minimalist, but after some difficulty initially, we installed it relatively easily.

The single best word to describe my Sony HT-S100F Soundbar is “DISAPPOINTING” - VERY disappointing. I purchased the Sony after purchasing and having HDMI/ARC communication problems with a JBL soundbar. I was told by the electronics store sales rep that Sony TV’s [mine is a 55X75K] have a reputation for communication problems with any soundbar brand other than a Sony. So I returned the JBL to the store and bought the Sony at Amazon [out-of-stock at the store]. The Sony has similar communication problems!! About 50% of power-ons work properly, maybe 25% require me to turn the TV ON separately as TV comes ON then goes OFF. Another 25%, as above the TV goes OFF, but when I turn it ON, it doesn’t know which source had been on previously. A real nuisance! I suspect that my using a DISH receiver/remote as the master control is part of the problem. But I should have kept the JBL. This behavior is not acceptable, but at this point, I’m stuck with it. The sound produced by the two are different. The Sony does a credible job with enhancing dialogue, but has NO BASS compared to the JBL. The Sony does have different sound fields that are useful; the JBL only has 2 and I can’t hear a difference, and they are a nuisance to use as it resets to default at power off. The bass on the JBL is a bit boomy, but I heard things I never heard with the Sony TV’s speakers and are completely missing in the Sony soundbar. I do NOT recommend this Sony soundbar.

Great design and good technical parameters. I bought a new TV and the HT-SF150 soundbar. It was a very good purchase. There is now a good full sound and facilitates the reception of very selective sound.

Very pleased with the quality, design and sound... very good value.

I have this for 3 weeks. It is connected to the TV by HDMI and connected to the FireStick by bluetooth. The sound from this is nice but I would like it if the volume changes were in smaller increments so that I could fine tune the volume level.

This is a great addition to my TV. The internal speakers were not that good, but the sound now comes through the Soundbar and is excellent. I have also connected it to my Amazon Echo, so can play music through it. Easy to set up and use, and looks great in front of the TV

After constantly having to adjust the sound for every program and sometimes during we can now change channels without being either blasted out the sound quality is excellent

For the price paid for this Sony soundbar, the quality is to be expected. Not great and volume had to be raised to pretty high before the voice audio of people speaking can be clearer. However, if you TV doesn't come with ARC, then the sound optic cable must be used ie no sound will be heard via HDMI.

I got this as a gift and I love it. I enjoy Sony quality.

Easy instalation decent sound not a bad purchase for the price

Just for a sound bar itself without a woofer it’s pretty impressive. Before purchasing this, I was comparing around with other sound bars you can find or recommended. Sleek design with powerful quality output. Go compare this with those that comes along with woofer. Don’t be bias, because with woofer it’s definitely better, but this is something you’ll go “it’s actually good without a woofer”. There’s built in woofer in this bar. I mean don’t expect it to vibrate and give solid bass. I would it’s more than just decent.

Purchased a month ago after researching midrange priced soundbars. Performance of Sony HT SF150 unit considered good, not exceptional. The included remote control unit has several pre-set sound modes, but unlike some soundbars of about the same price range, has no control over Bass nor Treble tones

Nice sound with good powerful bass. Playing the USB songs is a hassle as you need to press numerous button. Connection to BLUETOOTH is similarly troublesome at times. Else, overall a very worthwhile and happy purchase.

I bought this speaker for my 45” TV and I am very pleased. Small but of good quality.

Bought this about a month ago. I have put it with a TV in a large great room. Noticeable sound difference. Theater like music & voices are much easier to understand. Very happy with product.

AIR ANTENNA I cannot get the FULL USE of the Sound Bar because you need WI-FI SUPPORT!!! The first sound bar I received brand new did not work Tech support said that my HDMI cable needs to be change but the unit was bad I cannot rate the sound bar because I did not have WI-FI.

I bought this about a month ago to listen to music via Bluetooth. I like it. It serves its purpose. Later on I will probably add a subwoofer.
