Boys Like Girls Second Single 'Two Is Better Than One' Proves To Be Another Hit From New Album Love Drunk

Boys Like Girls are continuing to solidify their success in pop music with their second album, Love Drunk, another hit single, national TV performances, a recent sold-out headlining tour and more. This week the album's second single "Two Is Better Than One" (feat. Taylor Swift) broke into the top 20 at Top 40 radio and reached the top 20 on the iTunes Singles chart. Digital single sales for "Two Is Better Than One" continue to grow at a fast rate with nearly 50,000 sold alone last week thanks to a recent performance on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, appearances on "Good Morning America" and the "Today Show." "Two Is Better Than One" marks the band's 5th charting Top 40 single in just two albums.
The band will continue their reign on national TV with performances on MTV's "It's On with Alexa Chung" on Tuesday, December 15 and ABC's "The View" on Tuesday, December 22. The band will also share the Z100 Jingle Ball bill with the likes of John Mayer, Taylor Swift and others at the sold out concert being held on Friday, December 11 at Madison Square Garden.
The December highlights for Boys Like Girls include a MTV video premiere for "Two Is Better Than One" on Thursday, December 10, which includes extensive visibility on MTV, MTV Hits, mtvU, and mtv.com. The band's Rhapsody Sessions performance will also launch on December 15.
The sophomore album, Love Drunk, made its debut at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 and received glowing reviews from diverse outlets like People, Alternative Press, The New York Times and Billboard Magazine who cemented their place in pop music by writing, "...these songs will be heard for many years to come." The album also features the hit title track and first single, "Love Drunk," which soared to #8 on the pop radio chart and has sold over 1 million digital tracks to date.
