Connecting multiple displays on VAIO notebooks.

Some VAIO® notebooks can be configured with a Stamina/Speed mode including duel internal video cards.

Since the two video cards present in this configuration are functioning independently from each other, it will not be possible to clone/duplicate a main display which is being driven by the other video card. It is however possible to have extended desktops across multiple video cards.

NOTE:  The internal display of the laptop may be cloned only if an external monitor is connected directly to the laptop’s intermal HDMI® port.

Displays connected directly to the Docking Station may be cloned by making one of the attached external monitors the Primary display instead of the built-in display.
