What are the xLOUD and Clear Phase features?
The xLOUD feature is a technology developed by Sony® Corporation to enhance the audio playback level. This feature allows you to enjoy movies and music with added impact, even when using small speakers.
The Clear Phase feature is a high sound definition/high sound quality playback technology, also developed by Sony. It enhances the special characteristics of the speakers, and achieves a natural sound reproduction and clear sound image position.
NOTE: One important point of the xLOUD feature is that it only works with the speakers built into a Sony device, and not with any headphones or connected accessory speakers.
