The Buttons on the Car Stereo Don't Function or Respond

Follow these steps to resolve this issue:

  1. If the car stereo has a detachable faceplate, clean the metal contacts with a cotton swab lightly dipped, not saturated, with rubbing alcohol.

    WARNING! There's a risk of personal injury. For safety, before cleaning the connectors, turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition switch.

  2. If the vehicle has an Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), turn it off and on again.
  3. Press the RESET button to reset the car stereo.

If the issue still occurs, repair may be required.
