My Digital Paper device cannot connect to a wireless network

    When your Digital Paper device is unable to connect to a Wi-Fi® access point after pressing the reset button and moving it closer to a router, follow these steps to help resolve the issue. Each of these steps represents a possible solution, check the Wi-Fi connectivity status of your device after completing each step.

    Note: Pressing the reset button does not delete the documents and settings from the internal memory.

    Rerun your Wi-Fi connection set-up.

    1. Turn Off the Wi-Fi function of the Digital Paper device.
      1. Press the HOME button and tap Settings
      2. Select Wireless Network Settings.
      3. Tap Wi-Fi to uncheck the box.
    2. Power reset the Digital Paper device.
      1. Press and hold the Power button for about 3 seconds.
      2. Tap Yes to turn off the Digital Paper device.
      3. Press the Power button again to turn on the Digital Paper device.
    3. Turn the Wi-Fi function back On.
      1. Press the HOME button and tap Settings.
      2. Select Wireless Network Settings.
      3. Tap Wi-Fi to check the box.

    Refresh the network SSID

    The network SSID indicates the network name of your wireless router.

    1. Press the HOME button and tap Settings.
    2. Select Wireless Network Settings.
    3. Select the Wi-Fi network you were connected previously and want to connect again.
    4. Select Forget This Network.
    5. Re-enter your password to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.

    Power reset your router

    Connection issues with your wireless router are often resolved after performing a power reset.

    1. Unplug the power to your wireless router and wait about 60 seconds.
    2. Reconnect the power to your wireless router and make sure it's turned on.
    3. Wait until the device is finished making it's connection to the internet and your network.
    4. Check the Wi-Fi connectivity status of your device.

    Initialize your Digital Paper device.

    Note: The initialization process will reset all settings, it's necessary to set up the network settings of your device again after initialization is performed.

    1. Press the HOME button.
    2. Tap Settings.
    3. Select Initialization.
    4. Select Reset Device.
