My Digital Paper device cannot connect to a wireless network
When your Digital Paper device is unable to connect to a Wi-Fi® access point after pressing the reset button and moving it closer to a router, follow these steps to help resolve the issue. Each of these steps represents a possible solution, check the Wi-Fi connectivity status of your device after completing each step.
Rerun your Wi-Fi connection set-up.
- Turn Off the Wi-Fi function of the Digital Paper device.
- Press the HOME button and tap Settings
- Select Wireless Network Settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi to uncheck the box.
- Power reset the Digital Paper device.
- Press and hold the Power button for about 3 seconds.
- Tap Yes to turn off the Digital Paper device.
- Press the Power button again to turn on the Digital Paper device.
- Turn the Wi-Fi function back On.
- Press the HOME button and tap Settings.
- Select Wireless Network Settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi to check the box.
Refresh the network SSID
The network SSID indicates the network name of your wireless router.
- Press the HOME button and tap Settings.
- Select Wireless Network Settings.
- Select the Wi-Fi network you were connected previously and want to connect again.
- Select Forget This Network.
- Re-enter your password to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
Power reset your router
Connection issues with your wireless router are often resolved after performing a power reset.
- Unplug the power to your wireless router and wait about 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power to your wireless router and make sure it's turned on.
- Wait until the device is finished making it's connection to the internet and your network.
- Check the Wi-Fi connectivity status of your device.
Initialize your Digital Paper device.
- Press the HOME button.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Initialization.
- Select Reset Device.
