If the Amazon® app is either not responding or nothing happens when selecting the Amazon Internet video app on the Blu-ray Disc™ player, Network Media player or TV, make sure that the device has the latest system software update installed.
- If the Amazon app does not appear in the menu of the TV or Internet video device, it indicates that either TV or Internet video device do not support the Amazon app or you are accessing the Amazon app in an unsupported region or country.
- If an error cannot connect to the Internet appears or if the Amazon app does not work when attempting to use it, make sure the time and date settings of the TV are set correctly.
- For Android® TVs, if the Error 9353 appears on the Amazon Video app is available.
- For non-Android LCD TVs, an article that addresses error codes when accessing the Amazon app is available.
Updates can be easily downloaded and installed through the Settings menu by using the Network Update feature. Refer to the manual supplied with the device for additional information regarding Network Updates feature or locating the Settings menu. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
NOTE: If your Internet connection is too slow or you are unable to download the update directly using the menu of the device, updates are also available. Downloads are posted on your model support page.
After making sure that the device is connected to an active high-speed Internet connection, and installing the latest software, register the device and begin using the Amazon Instant Video app.
