Can I Change aibo's Name?

You can change your aibo™ robotic companion's name in the My aibo app, the official app for aibo.

App for Smartphones

1. Launch My aibo app.
2. Select My aibo.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Name and sex.
   1. Enter your preferred Name for aibo.
   2. Enter the Pronunciation.
5. Select Set.
6. Call your aibo with the new nickname after the screen refreshes.
   • If aibo responds, you're done renaming aibo.

App for Computers

1. Open My aibo app.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Name and sex.
   1. Enter your preferred Name for aibo.
   2. Enter the Pronunciation.
4. Select Set.
5. Call your aibo with the new nickname after the screen refreshes.
