If aibo doesn't take photos or photos don't appear in the My aibo app, check the following.
Check the photo settings
If the Enable photo taking setting is OFF, aibo cannot take photos.
- Open the My aibo app.
- Select Settings.
- Select Photos.
- Check that Enable photo taking is turned ON.
If aibo cannot take photos
Check the following:
- Make sure the nose camera is clean and free of dirt or debris.
- Make sure aibo can recognize voice commands correctly.
Tip- To check voice recognition, try a voice command such as “Shake hands.”
- To take a photo, say “Take a picture” to aibo.
- Make sure aibo is connected to the Internet
If photos do not appear in the My aibo app
- Automatically taken photos
When Take photos automatically is enabled in the My aibo app, aibo automatically takes photos of things it likes and its surroundings. These photos are uploaded to the Photo section once a day when all of the following conditions are met: .
- aibo has not been touched for 15 minutes or longer.
- aibo has not detected any voice for 15 minutes or longer.
- aibo has naturally gone to sleep
Because of these requirements, automatically taken photos may not appear in the My aibo app immediately.
- Photos taken using the "Take a picture" voice command
- Photos taken manually are normally uploaded to the Photo section as soon as possible. If the photos do not appear, make sure aibo is connected to the Internet.
