    The device cannot be detected or connect to the BRAVIA Connect app.

    Check the following:

    • Make sure both the device and smartphone are using the same Wi-Fi network.
    • If you are using an iPhone, follow the steps below:
      1. Select Settings → Privacy and Security → Local Network.
      2. Allow access to the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app.

    • Delete the pairing information on both the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app and the smartphone, and then try the connection again.

      To remove the device registration on the BRAVIA Connect app:
      Tap Close on the app, and select Account → Remove device to remove the device registration.
      To delete the pairing information on the smartphone:

      The following descriptions are just examples. For details about the settings on the smartphone, refer to the smartphone manual.

      • Android device
        While the smartphone's Bluetooth function is set to ON, select Settings → Device connection. On the Previously connected devices list, select the Settings icon to the right of LE_xxxxx (the model name you want to delete), and then select Forget to delete the device.
      • iPhone
        Select Settings → Bluetooth to set the Bluetooth function to ON, and select the Information icon to the right of LE_xxxxx (the model name you want to delete).

      Hint: If LE_xxxxx (the model name you want to delete) and the device model name are displayed on the Previously connected devices list, delete both.

    • Restart the smartphone.
      For details about restarting the smartphone, refer to the phone's operating manual.
    • Restart the connected device.
      For details about restarting the device, refer to the device's operating manual. If the device has an AC power cord (mains lead), disconnect the cord from the AC outlet (mains), wait for a second, and then reconnect it again.
    • Reset the device to the factory default settings, or initialize the device, and after that, try the connection again using the Sony | BRAVIA Connect app.
      The settings will be reset to the factory default.
