Follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue.
1. Update the TV software to the latest version
Updating the TV software may fix specific issues.
2. Check the TV settings
If the TV turns on or off at regular intervals (e.g., every 30 minutes to an hour), check the TV settings.
Set Auto power on time to Never or OFF.
- On the remote control, press the HOME button.
- When the Home screen is displayed, press the Dashboard (
) button on the remote control. - Select All Settings.
- Select System.
- Select Power & energy.
- Select Scheduled power on/off.
- Select Auto power on time.
- Select Never or OFF.
Disable settings that turn off the TV.
- On the remote control, press the HOME button.
- When the Home screen is displayed, press the Dashboard (
) button on the remote control. - Select All Settings.
- Select System.
- Select Power & energy.
- Check the next menu options and configure them appropriately:
- Select Scheduled power on/off → Auto power off time → Set it to Never or OFF.
- Select Shut-Off Timer → Set Turn-off when inactive and Turn-off when watching to Never.
Notes:
- If Turn-off when inactive is enabled, the TV will turn off when there is no user activity, but it will remain on while you're watching content.
- If Turn-off when watching is enabled, the TV will turn off when there is no user activity, even if you're watching content.
- Select Shut-Off Timer → Turn-off when watching → Set it to Never.
3. Perform a power reset

4. Reset the TV to the original factory settings
Refer to the How to reset the Google TV to factory settings article.
The troubleshooting steps listed above should resolve your issue. If the above steps do not help, the TV may need a service.  Go to Product Repair.
