Dear Sony Customer,
The RDR-GX257 product currently labeled as ENERGY STAR was inadvertently shipped in a mode that does not meet ENERGY STAR guidelines for energy efficiency. In order to realize the energy savings, please activate your product's "Power Save" feature. Click here to see how to activate this feature.
Please note that if the "Power Save" feature is turned "Off", the RDR-GX257 product does not meet ENERGY STAR guidelines. Therefore, to reduce power consumption when the product is in "stand-by" mode, please be sure to keep the "Power Save" feature on. Alternatively, when the product is not in use, you can simply unplug the unit.
