Why does Lifelog need to be linked to Google?

You may have received an insight card with information about your Lifelog account. The information on the card says that soon you will not be able to log in to Lifelog with your SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) account anymore. Instead you need to link your Lifelog account to your Google™ account. The last date to link your Lifelog account to your Google™ account is May 15, 2017, if you have not linked your account by then you will lose your Lifelog history.

Using Lifelog client released on May 15th or later it is no longer possible to use Lifelog with your SEN account.

To link your Lifelog account to your Google™ account

1. On the insight card, tap Link to Google account.
2. Tap LINK.

OR using Lifelog client 3.2.x or later

1. Tap If you have previously signed in to Lifelog using a Sony account, tap here.
2. Login using your SEN account.
3. Tap Sign in with Google.
