This utility installs the Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows ME operating system device drivers for the MPF82E external USB floppy disk drive.

To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
It is highly recommended to print out these instructions and the README.TXT file that will appear during the installation as a reference during the installation process.

Download the MPF82E-2000-ME.ZIP file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and extract the contents of the MPF82E-2000-ME.ZIP files to a temporary directory(please note this directory for reference).
Note:You may need to use a third party software to extract the files.
Connect the USB disk drive to the USB connector on your computer.
Note:The "Found New Hardware Wizard" window appears.
At the "Welcome to the Found..." screen, click "Next".
At the "Install Hardware Device Drivers" screen, select "Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended)", and then click "Next".
At the "Locate Driver Files" screen, select "Specify a location", and then click "Next".
At the "Insert the manufacturer's..." screen, click "Browse" to locate the temporary directory with the specified extracted files, and then click "OK".
At the "Driver Files Search Results" screen, click "Next" to install the driver.
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

At the "Windows driver file search..." screen, click "Next" to install the driver.
