Notes:

• If you do not save the update file in the root directory of the USB drive, or you change the name of the update file, you cannot update the monitor.
• You can update the monitor via the UPDATE port only.
• Do not pull out the power cable, USB drive, and connection cable during the update.
• Some USB drives are not supported.

1. Download the update file

Use the Download button at the top of this page to download the update file to your computer.
SDM-27U9M2_M***.zip (M*** displays the file version)

2. Expand the update file

1. Expanding the update file:
   • Since the downloaded update file is compressed, right-click on the file, and select the item you want to expand.
   • The file will then expand.
   • Depending on your computer’s operating system, you may not be able to expand the file using these steps.
2. Confirming the expanded file:
   • Confirm that the file SDM-27U9M2.bin has been created in the folder SDM-27U9M2_M***.
   • Do not change the file name.

3. Copy the file to a USB drive

1. Preparing your USB drive:
   • Use a FAT32 or NTFS file system for your USB drive.
   • To confirm the file system, right-click the USB drive and open Properties.
     
2. Copying the file to your USB drive:
   • Copy the expanded SDM-27U9M2.bin file to the root directory (top layer) of the USB drive.
     
   • Do not copy the SDM-27U9M2_M*** folder to the root directory.
   • Do not copy the SDM-27U9M2_M***.zip file to the root directory.

4. Insert the USB drive into the monitor

1. Pulling the USB drive out of your computer:
   • Follow the operating system instructions for pulling the USB drive out of your computer.
2. Inserting the USB drive into your monitor:
   • Insert the USB drive into your monitor’s UPDATE port.
     

5. Update the monitor

1. On the monitor’s menu screen, select Others and then USB software update.
2. The progress status will appear on the screen during the update. The update will take about 1 minute to complete. Once it’s finished, the monitor will restart automatically.

How to Check the INZONE Monitor Software Version via the Monitor Screen

1. Press the joystick on the rear of the monitor to display the menu.
2. Move the joystick to the right to select Others-DDC/CI.
3. Move the joystick down and select Software version.
4. The software version M*** will appear on the monitor screen.
