Discontinuation of the mocopi link app

Dear Valued Sony Customer,

The mocopi link app, used for motion capture on your PC, will be officially discontinued on October 28, 2026, and will no longer be available for download on the App Store and Google Play. The mocopi app, used to perform motion capture on your smartphone, will remain available.

Details

• If the mocopi link app is uninstalled after October 28, 2026, you will not be able to download it again.
• If you have already installed the mocopi link app, you may continue using it. However, updates to the PC applications (mocopi PC app, mocopi VR app, and XYN Motion Studio app) will not be supported in the mocopi link app.
• The PC applications will stop supporting the mocopi link app connection from their next update.
• After the next update of the PC applications, the versions that support the mocopi link app will be available on Sony's XYN web site until October 28, 2026.
  Important

  You will need to skip future PC application updates or re-download the versions of the PC applications that support the mocopi link app to maintain the mocopi link app functionality.
