(Wired) Connection diagnosis results are displayed as OK, OK, Failed
After performing a network diagnosis, the result may appear as:
- Physical Connection: OK
- Local Access: OK
- Internet Access: Failed
Follow the troubleshooting steps below. Each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, check the network connection status after completing each step.
The TV may be connected to the local network but not to the internet.
- Make sure that the connection is active by disconnecting the Ethernet cable from the TV and attempting to access the internet using a computer or similar device.
- Reset all of the network equipment, such as your router or cable modem, by turning them off and unplugging them for two minutes. After turning them on again, wait for a few minutes until they are done initializing, and then confirm you can access the internet on your other devices (such as a smartphone or computer).
- Connect the power cords of the modem and the router.
- Reconnect the Ethernet cable to the TV and turn it on.
- Perform the connection diagnosis again.
