Version upgrade procedure
To update the firmware proceed as follows:

Version upgrade procedure
1. Download the firmware from the web site https://pro.sony/agriculture
2.  Format microSD card and copy the firmware (msc_2.20.f.bin) to the microSD card root directory (D:\msc_2.20.f.bin)
3.  Prepare for powering camera by one of the following methods
     a: If camera is secured to drone, please ensure the drones battery is fully charged and utilize drone’s power.               
     b: If the camera is detached from the drone, connect a USB wall charger to the camera port labeled “DC IN 5V”
4. Insert the microSD card in the camera
5. While pressing the camera side button between the two lenses, connect power source. Continue holding switch until LED starts flashing blue and purple (30-40 seconds)
6. The camera update is in progress while the LED flashes blue and purple. This process can take up to several minutes. The camera update completes when the LED reverts to flashing green. The update process is now halfway completed.
7. Turn off the power by removing the power cable from the port or power off the drone
8. Next, the sensor unit will be updated  (the unit without lenses).Apply power to the camera, this time do NOT push the button during power up.
9. The sensor unit firmware update will begin when the LED begins flashing blue and purple. Allow up to several minutes.
10. When the senor  update completes, the LED on both the camera and sensor will flash green.
11. When version upgrade is completed, the LED of the Sensor Unit will blink GREEN
12. Remove power cable  and microSD card. Remove the firmware file from the microSD card by deleting or performing a format.

If there is an error, the camera LED will be flashing RED or be fixed RED.
Turn off the power and check that the file on the microSD card if it is correct one and stored in the root directory.
