Sony is offering update of the system software and the network function software for XDCAM Camcorder “PXW-X180”.

XDCAM Camcorder “PXW-X180”.

[Applicable software version]
– System software: Ver.4.01 or earlier.
– Network Function software: Ver.2.41 or earlier.
* Please visit the download page to check the system software version installed on your product.)
* Both of the System software update and the Network Function software update are necessary to PXW-X180.

1. XDCAM air support
XDCAM air is a cloud service provided by Sony. A separate contract is required to use this service. For details, contact your Sony professional sales representative.

– System software: Ver.4.10
– Network Function software: Ver.3.01

[Caution of operation]
Please don’t leave a lot of the files to be uploaded with the upload function. When there are a lot of the files to be uploaded in the list(Job List), the following phenomenon may occur.

-Failure of version upgrade
After deleting a lot of files from the list(Job List), please update the camcorder software.

– Failure of file transfer
When there are a lot of the files to be uploaded, please delete the files from the list(Job List) once.After that , please transfer files.

-Failure of delete from list(Job List)
If you fail to delete a lot of files from the list(Job List) , then please reset the network settings. After that , please set the network settings again.
