The remote for this TV doesn’t work properly, it seems to have a “mind of it own”. Sometimes it will not work at all, and other times it scrolls multiple times instead of only once. I have been unable to get any help from Sony that will eliminate the problem. I have done the reset, changed batteries and updates the software - it still does this much of the time - I would love to get some REAL assistance from someone at Sony to solve this issue, because the TV is AWESOME, but I can’t really enjoy it with the remote control issues.. if anyone has any other suggestions, I’ve become desperate.. than you.

I bought this tv wanting a 4k 120hz tv been needing one for more shows and games that been coming out lately

If I wasn't going to comment on the speakers I'd rate this unit 5/5 but the sound does let it down slightly. It's on the wall but the table top settings work best. There is an inbuilt equaliser but it's no intuitive for non technical people. Quality, colour, clarity - everything on the screen is 10/10 but the sound quality does dip it slightly

Being a Sony aficionado since my teenage years (61 now) I always look for Sony TVs and as lightning done for my 43” Bravia (8 years old) and my first “proper” 32” Sony plasma (£1200 - 2006) was given to my son whilst still going strong after 12 years, it is only fitting I bought a new Bravia even though it was a close run contest with a Samsung. I compared the pictures in store and the Bravia seemed far superior to me in every respect, so the deal was done (along with a surge protection lead!).

Bought in January 2023. Been trying to get comfy with operating it but not that straightforward.

Firstly, It is a user friendly Smart TV and very easy to use. Secondly, two individual control is a very good design, more easy for individual control.

I love my Sony X89K 43 inch tv,but I find the Programe Info screen very small and hard to read. It would have been great to have had Component Connections and a Scart.

Amazing tv, great features, unlimited apps can download from google play app. Made my life easy

if I'd known this i would have bought a Samsung.......

Brought this model 2 week ago..overall ok but not the sound system from the TV set

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with it.

Quality product at a reasonable price. More important easy to set up, even for the elderly.

Have had the TV for a couple of weeks, it's got a fantastic picture when you are sitting in front of the TV, but if you go to either side it's goes a bit dull. I may have it set up wrong, I keep trying different settings but still the same. Generally speaking though it's a very good picture.

I bought this 50” Sony tv middle of February. It replaced an older Samsung tv. I’ve had tv for several weeks now. The picture quality is very good. The sound is also good, considering it’s just from the tv speakers. I’ve read reviews about sound being tinny, but it isn’t. Ok it’s not home theatre system or sound bar, it’s not that bad in my opinion, got reasonable good bass. You can tweak it and the same goes for picture to your liking. The menus are fairly easy to operate. I wanted the oled, but couldn’t justify the extra money. I would recommend this telly.

It was easy to set up but for me it is not so easy to find my way around the different features. But I'm slowly getting there. The on off button and Mike control are very awkward to get to

Slight issue with the sound. There is a boom sound sometimes when people are talking which is quite distracting. Need to know if it can be adjusted.

Wanted a tv with built in freesat tuner as my partner found using set top box laborious. This Tv is easy to use, fast using OSD and gives excellent picture and sound. Finding I use you tube etc on TV more as it is all so easy and quick to find. Can also out up pictures from my ipad via Airplay easily. Very pleased with purchase.

A well speced tv bought at a good price. However not as good as I expected when comoared with my 10 year old award winning panasonic. Viewing angle is poor ... the picture looks 'washed out' if you are not looking at it 'head on'. The sound is not, in my opinion, as good as my old panasonic and there are 'lip sync' issues with some connected devices, which I hadn't noticed with my previous 'set up'.

I purchased this TV about a month ago, there is so much it does. Films and TV have never looked so good. Even gaming is excellent with 120hz feature.

Bought this on a Friday and took it back on the Sunday and swapped it for a samsung, Picture quality was OK but the sound was so bad...really poor quality..the 12 Yr old Sony TV that it was supposed to replace sounded better than this new one...very disappointed with the brand now

I've had this now for about two weeks and I'm delighted with it. I hooked it up to a dish rather than my old aerial and the picture is razor sharp with great colour reproduction.

Very happy excellent picture and easy to use. Has bravia core with 5 free films and youview. I added a sound bar. This tv is very good for the money about 650 at currys. I was so impressed I bought the 75x95k mini led for the sitting room now cinema room. Excellent product which beats lg c2 I have that too.

I got this TV after my existing Sony panel gave way. The colors are vibrant, screen menu is excellent and design of the TV is simple yet elegant. This is my 4th Sony TV in my house and would never think of another brand ever since my first one.

For terrestrial TV the picture isn’t as good as my 16 year old 720p Panasonic. But for streaming and gaming, it’s on another level. Features are excellent, including voice control. Picture and sound can be customised easily. Very easy to set up and lots of inputs.

This is a quality TV which is just the right size. It's the first full blown smart tv I've purchased and although I'm reasonably tech savvy I found getting at all the functions available a little confusing but not impossible especially as it comes with 2 remote controls.......still not sure why. But overall it's a great picture with good sound through external speakers.

This is the 1st time I bought a Sony X85k 75" 2 weeks ago. Disappointed that the LED backlight not able to reach the 4 corners of the TV. Requested Sony to come down check and they said it normal. If I know this is what they called normal i would have buy other brands. Very disappointed

So easy to set up and the apps are great will buy another sony product if this one turns out as durable as our other tv

I received the k series as a replacement for my j series and to be honest, I much prefer my old TV, the screen is to dark and I’ve actually stopped watching TV because of this and a bit disappointed that I’ve paid £500 for a tv that I can’t watch

Excellent television with brilliant picture and sound. Easy to navigate. Only issues so far are the inability to access Britbox (incompatible) and the full functionality of ITVX is not available. Hopefully both of these will be addressed by Sony.

I purchased this TV a month ago I have wanted a big screen TV for a long time and have looked at many. Love this one, beautiful picture lots of features I'm still figuring out. It does not disapoint

i brought this tv 2 months ago not has good as i expected

Only issue noted is there is no volume and the loss of HDMI 2 connection once in awhile. So need to switch off the TV or cable tv setup box connection.

Easy to use for an 82 year old. Good picture and excellent sound. Very happy.

Bought about a month ago, delivery was faultless and tv setup was straightforward, fantastic picture quality, would recommend.

I bought this earlier this month. IT was easy to set up, the basics were in the printed instructions, other things I easily found on line. Importantly for me it can easily be switched from aerial to satellite - I watch a lot of TV from Astra 19.2E in German and French. Picture quality is excellent, sound is good. Remote control and menus are easy to work out.

Great TV with lots of functions. Love the colours and the sounds without having my AVR on. Bought the camera which was optional and it works without the remote control. All you need is to perform some hand movements to switch on or off the tv as well as turning up or down the channel. Same goes to the volume too. Warranty 3 years and additional 3 months if you submit via the Sony website.

Have had this tv for two weeks so feel able to give a balanced review of its features. Firstly it was very easy to set up with guided steps through the process it took about twenty minutes to be up and working. The sound quality is excellent and this is something you cannot test in a store location so I was very pleased with that, a friend turned up recently and asked if we had a sound bar as he thought the sound was so good. Picture quality is very good from whatever angle the screen is watched and HD is even better. Haven’t got Ultra HD so cannot comment on that. Overall I am extremely pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend the TV

I bought this TV as an upgrade for a Sony Bravia TV I had for a number of years. I have had Sony TV's over a long no. of years and am very happy with the brand & the products they produce.

Got my x85k about 4 weeks ago still working my way around the apps and TV function very satisfied with this item .both remote control are easy to use .and the picture quality is very good.

This television is fantastic. We need networks to catch up to this tremendous tv.

I'm enjoying all my shows with this excellent Sony tv, picture perfect, sound, quality, and size make all the difference.

Got the telly last year has been great food quality belting TV

Works great, have had it for a month or so. It's just like a movie Theater. Sounds system is good, had a sound bar but disconnected it. Only down side is it doesn't play well with, in my case, DISH. It's just a paring thing, but not easy to get it connected. For a while only way to turn TV off in either mode, DISH or Sony line up was to say "OFF" using voice recognition thing. Finally accidently bumped into the right area and got it off using buttons.

Buying a new TV after several years is not an easy decision, and especially today, where there are many different models is no easy feat. After much thought and research, I decided to buy Sony X85K 65 inches TV. After using it for close to a month, I’m very happy with the TV! The colours are sharp and the black value of the picture on screen is perfect, which enables the contrast to be higher. When it comes to the features, the Google TV, although has limited apps, most of the apps that a TV needs to have are available. The sound quality is also loud and precise. Overall, this TV from Sony is an all rounder and anyone who’s looking to purchase a TV should definitely consider this.

I've always bought SONY TV and equipment for many years because of their dependability and ability to travel. I was in the Military and moved frequently equipment always worked when plugged in after travel. This TV is a 55 Inch X85 K and the picture and sound are amazing. It streams with no effort and flawless picture. Perfect for Me. Expect to last 15 years or more.

I bought this tv a few weeks ago. It’s great and much improvement on my 6 year old Sony Bravia. The set up is painful though with all the usernames and passwords required. What’s wrong in just being able to plug it in, tune for stations and watch???

I purchased this awhile ago and I’m wondering why I waited so long. I have both a PS5 and an AppleTV. When I turn either of them on, this unit turns an and switches inputs so I don’t have go searching for it.

Quality picture and sound. Easy to set up and use Love the ask Google feature. Can watch the Nest video feed with details missed on the small screen

We got this just before Christmas. Great features, excellent color. Good price. We are enjoying all the shows.
