How to authorize a device for use with Adobe DRM-protected content or the Adobe Digital Editions software.
NOTE: A separate installation of the Adobe® Digital Editions software is not necessary if the latest version of the Reader™ (eBook) Library is installed. Downloads are posted on your model support page.
After you have downloaded Adobe DRM-protected content and try to view it in the Reader (eBook) Library software or transfer it to your Reader, you will be prompted to authorize your computer, then your device for Adobe DRM-protected content. Click Yes in both windows.
In the Authorization screen, click Get Adobe ID and then follow the instructions to obtain your Adobe ID.
NOTE: If you experience issues authorizing your Reader with Adobe Digital Editions software, contact Adobe.
