  1. Verify that the speaker cords and surround amplifier connection are accurate and secure.
  2. Make sure you performed the test tone function where the speakers will emit a tone, which will verify all speakers are working.
  3. Check that the S-AIR™ Wireless system is set up and the S-AIR/STANDBY indicator is green.
  4. Verify the Surround Back setting for the rear wireless speakers is activated by doing the following:

    1. Using the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
    2. Once the HOME menu appears, press the left or right arrow to select Setup (Image).
    3. Select Audio Settings.
    4. Press the Imagebutton.
    5. Select Speaker Settings.
    6. Press the Imagebutton.
    7. Select Surround Back.
    8. Press the Imagebutton.
    9. Select Yes.
    10. Press the Imagebutton.
  5. Verify the Surround setting for the home theater system is set to a Surround mode and that it is not set to a 2-channel source.

Also, depending on the source being played, the effect of the surround speakers may be less noticeable or not at all. Try different Surround sources to see if there is any difference.
