How Do I Install the Reader for PC or Reader for Mac Software?

The Reader™ for PC or Reader™ for Mac software downloads are available for your computer. Select the appropriate download according to your computer type and then follow the instructions provided to install it.

If you have a PRS-T1 Reader Wi-Fi® device, you can install the software directly from it. Follow the steps according to your computer operating system (OS):

• Microsoft® Windows® OS
  1. Using the supplied USB cable, connect the Reader to the computer.
  2. On your Reader device, press Data Transfer Mode.
  3. On the computer, when the Reader is recognized by AutoPlay, click Open folder to view files.
  4. Double click Setup Reader for PC.exe.
     • Installation for Reader for PC begins.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
• Apple® Mac® OS X® OS
  1. Using the supplied USB cable, connect the Reader to your computer.
     • A SETTING folder appears.
  2. Double click the SETTING folder.
  3. In the SETTING folder, double-click Setup Reader for Mac.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
