How to do a Factory data reset.
- Press the Home button.
- Tap Apps.
- From the list of Apps, locate and then tap Settings.
- In the Settings screen, tap Privacy.
- In the Privacy settings screen, tap Factory data reset.
NOTE: If you want to erase data such as images or music from the internal storage, then you should select the Erase USB storage option.
WARNING: Data loss will occur when you select this option.
- Tap Reset device.
- Next tap Erase everything.
