If you are unable to send videos to your smartphone using the Send to Smartphone function of the Imaging Edge® Mobile (PlayMemories Mobile™ successor) app, check the file format of the video you are attempting to send.
The Send to Smartphone function may not work if the file format isn't correct or a certain setting isn't set correctly.
Check the following when you send videos through the Send to Smartphone feature:
- Make sure that the video you want to transfer is in the MP4 format.
- Make sure that the memory card containing the videos is inserted in the camera.
- Make sure that the Airplane Mode is set to Off. Check the specifications of your camera to see if it has this function. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
