How to reset the component Hi-Fi stereo system to factory settings.
IMPORTANT:
- Use the buttons on the unit itself to perform the steps below.
- All user-configured settings, such as preset radio stations, Sleep Timer, pairing registration information, clock and network are reset to factory default setting.
The steps on how to reset the component Hi-Fi stereo system to factory settings vary depending on the model number of your stereo system. Select the appropriate steps below based on the model number of your stereo system.

MHC-V44D and MHC-GT4D
- Unplug the power cord from the electrical wall outlet.
- Plug the power cord back into the electrical wall outlet.
- Press the power button
to turn on the stereo system.
- Press and hold the ENTER button and the fast forward button
at the same time for about three seconds.
The word RESET will appear on the display panel.

MHC-V11
- Unplug the power cord from the electrical wall outlet.
- Plug the power cord back into the electrical wall outlet.
- Press the power button
to turn on the stereo system.
- Press and hold the STOP button
and folder minus button
at the same time until the word RESET appears on the display panel.

- Unplug the power cord from the electrical wall outlet.
- Plug the power cord back into the electrical wall outlet.
- Press the power button
to turn on the stereo system.
- Press and hold the FUNCTION button and the Volume - button at the same time for more than five seconds.
NOTE: After all the indicators on the stereo system flash for more than three seconds, all user-configured settings, such as the pairing registration information, are reset to factory default settings.

MHC-GT3D, MHC-GT5D and MHC-V7D
- Unplug the power cord from the electrical wall outlet.
- Plug the power cord back into the electrical wall outlet.
- Press the power button
to turn on the stereo system.
- Press and hold the ENTER button and the TUNING +/ fast forward button
at the same time for about three seconds.
The word RESET will appear on the display panel.

SHAKE-X1D, SHAKE-X3D and SHAKE-X7D
- Unplug the power cord from the electrical wall outlet.
- Plug the power cord back into the electrical wall outlet.
- Press the power button
to turn on the stereo system.
- Press and hold the DJ OFF button and TUNING + button at the same time for about three seconds.
The word RESET will appear on the display panel.

- Unplug the power cord from the electrical wall outlet.
- Plug the power cord back into the electrical wall outlet.
- Press the power button
to turn on the stereo system.
- Press and hold the PUSH ENTER button and the power button
at the same time until All Reset appears in the display window.

- Plug the power cord back into the electrical wall outlet.

- Press and hold the STOP button
and BASS BAZUCA button at the same time for about three seconds.
