The LED Indicator of the Subwoofer Flashes in Colors

The table below shows what the colors of the flashing LED (On/Standby indicator) of the subwoofer mean.

Indicates rise in temperature of the subwoofer. Follow the steps below to resolve this:

  1. Turn off the subwoofer and make sure that nothing is blocking the vent.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  3. Wait for a few minutes until the temperature has cooled.
  4. After the temperature has cooled, plug the power cord back in.
  5. Turn on the subwoofer.

Flashes slowly

Wireless Connection Issues

Follow these instructions if you encounter an issue with the wireless connection:

  • Move the subwoofer closer to the main unit of the home theater.
  • If possible, place the subwoofer where it isn't directly blocked by any furniture, walls, or metal barriers.
  • Move your wireless router more than one meter (3 feet) away from the main unit, subwoofer, or sound speaker
  • If the wireless router can switch between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, try the other frequency.
    • For the HT-ST9, HT-ST5, HT-NT3, HT-RT5: Try switching the wireless router to the 2.4 GHz band
    • For the HT-CT780, HT-CT380, HT-NT5, HT-CT790, HT-CT390, HT-XF9000, HT-X9000F: Switch the wireless router to the 5 GHz band.
  • If the wireless router has multiple channels, set it to a different channel. If the connection issue is resolved, save the setting for that channel.
    • Check the router manual for details on how to change the chanel.
    • If the instructions aren't clear, restart the router. It may automatically select another channel when it turns back on.
